Then is Mitt calling himself the “son of Mexican immigrants?”

You say Mitt's father was a U.S. citizen. The problem with that claim is the uncertainty of whether or not Mitt Romney's father really was a U.S. citizen at the time of Mitt Romney's birth in the United States. The Church of Latter-Day Saints is reported to have sent the grandfather and others down to Mexico to establish a Mormon colony there. During the later Mexican revolutionary wars, they were dispossessed of their properties and fled Mexico for the safety of the United States. Mitt Romney's father, George Romney, was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. It is claimed that George Romney was born with U.S. citizenship and natural born U.S. citizenship because both of his parents were U.S. citizens. This claim has been questioned, because the letter sent by the LDS to the Romney grandfather instructed them to become citizens of Mexico. If they did as instructed with the approval of the Government of Mexico, the possibility exists that George Romney may have been born on the soil of Mexico as a natural born citizen of Mexico in addition to any U.S. citizenship he may have also been entitiled to claim. Such a divided loyalty is the circumstance which the Constitutional Convention attempted to disqualify from eligibility to the Office of the President with the natural born citizen requirement in the Constitution. Consequently, there is a reasonable basis for questioning whether or not George Romney and/or Mitt Romney qualify as a natural born citizens whose parents did not have any divided loyalties as a consequence of having a parent who was not a citizen of the United States.

Romney is NOT eligible.
Want PROOF. Mexican Romney defends Obama
on his lack of documentations, removing THAT issue, too.
If Romney is on the ticket, we will not vote for
GOP candidates EVER.

His grandfather or great-grandfather defected, His father was born in Mexico, with no claim to U.S. citizenship.
