Well, this is the only poll showing it getting closer. A half dozen others are showing a stable and sizable Romney lead. And 2-3 are showing Romney with double digit leads. (RCP has Romney +15 today, which is the highest in the last 2 weeks) I’d like to see a couple of more that show this before I’d get excited.
Insider Advantage has called all three late breaking trends accurately.
I hope it’s true, but other polls taken entirely after the last debate show Romney only gaining ground.
Here’s hoping this one is catching something, and will be significant for a victory Tuesday.
I thought there was another poll tonight (PPP?) that showed Newt within 7. But now I can’t find it. I even posted on the thread. Maybe it was pulled for some reason.

Actually, all three polls taken that include Saturday and Sunday show Newt closing the gap. The other polls are a couple of days behind.
Also heard on the radio that another poll (newspaper) is coming out tomorrow showing a surge for Newt over the weekend.
It appears to be something showing in all of the polls since Friday. Will it be enough? Who knows?
According to the article, this poll was conducted on Sunday evening, while all the other polls were conducted through Saturday at the latest.
This poll would be the first to reflect any bump from the Cain endorsement and Sarah Palin’s comments last night.
But you’re right, we need to see a trend.
This was the poll that first showed Newtmentum in SC. All the others soon followed. But all of them failed to predict the big margin of Newt’s victory there. Hopefully it will be the same tomorrow.
