Perhaps I’m not remembering correctly, but didn’t the polls also show mittens ahead of Newt in SC as well?

The final poll results, however, had Gingrich in the lead. Each one of them. Turned out the polls were correct in outcome (they were off by the final percentage though).

Mid-month, but by four days out, they looked a lot like the current FLA polls in reverse. The RCP average was +5 Gingrich; PPP was closest at +10 to the final results of +12.6. PPP currently has Mittens in FLA at +8.
