Newt has been making overtures to Paul, too. Tea Party may need his delegates down the road. For instance, the GOP here in VA, under the guidance of Gov McDonnell has managed to lock everyone but Romney and Paul out of the primary. So the "stop Romney" forces here will have to vote for Ron Paul as no “write-ins” are allowed. It's amazing what the GOP elites are trying to do in this primary season. I hate Paul's foreign policy as well as some other issues; however, I will vote for him in the primary just to try to stop Romney from getting those delegates.

Newt overtures can’t be trusted. All he talked about is that he will look into setting up a gold standard which is as good as not doing anything. This is what politicians do - pretend they’re doing something
