Newt Gingrich will attend a presidential candidate forum Saturday in Winter Park, site of a tea party rally.
The rally, one of three events by Tea Party Express today, will be held in front of Aloma Church at 1:30 p.m. The church is at 1815 State Road 436.
It is also the location for the First Awake! Presidential Candidate Forum and Q&A. So far, Gingrich is the only candidate who has committed to attend.
Amy Kremer, head of Tea Party Express, said her group's bus tour, which started in Jacksonville Saturday morning, will make its third and final stop of the day in West Palm Beach, at 1302 Parker Ave.
The bus tour continues Sunday. See itinerary here.
This is a great opportunity to inform the American people that there is a free-market solution to get the economy on the right track and that the presidents actions have not accomplished what he has promised, Kremer concluded

Just saw that one myself. At some point they need to allow each candidate to have a video feed behind them to play the others’ words for the audience at the debate. How great would’ve have been after ALL those cheers to Mittens’ response in the last debate to show this clip?
To: lonevoice
Yes, I’m sure that was where I heard it. With so much going on I broke my rule and watched BOR! As you say, I have not heard that anywhere else, and as you know the Newt enemies, within 24 long hours, would be pouncing on it if it were true.
Poor Dick. BOR rather uses him to humiliate. He seems a lost soul hanging on by a thread to a career gone all but missing. What a damaging thing to be saying with no solid sources.

Wow, do I ever agree with you there. Whenever I see Dick on BOR, he looks like a whipped puppy dog. BOR just pushes him around, mocks him, and humiliates him. I don’t like Morris, but I almost pity him when I see him on that show. Almost. You’re right, too, if it was true about the donation money, we’d surely be hearing it somewhere else.

Yes, I too feel sorry for him. What he says is very interesting and sometimes what he says I wish were true, or would come true, but seems he’s the one who swings for the fences, (they say that about Newt) and I am afraid Morris’ accuracy average is probably closer to that of a clairvoyant who has long lost either his clair, or his voyant. But, I do wish him a living, and this awful road of humiliation he endures to make one has to be painful.
Remember, Newt is on at 8 EST, on CSPAN. Several of us are on a prayer vigil through Tuesday. :)

Hes proven to be untrustworthy in his private life, that eliminates him from trust in his public life.Well, I guess that eliminates King David.
Where did you hear that stupid rule? Just guessing...from a Mormon missionary?

I’ve called all my friends and we’re dialed into C-SPAN :-)
Is there a formal mechanism for joining the prayer vigil, or do we just “do it”? Thanks!

"Rick Santorum is "tired and broke" and has gone home to Pennsylvania to 'do his taxes'."
Or maybe his family took priority and now his daughter's back in CHOP.

I went and glad I did. Newt was amazing. He is the Real Deal. No teleprompter. No notes. Just a command of the room, issues and solutions to make this country better.

Watch Newt Gingrich Lincoln Day Dinner Speech
I did, and believe me, if a good speech is all that did it for me, I'd be all on board, just like all the Obama lemmings that love the way he orates.
My problems with Newt are fundamental.
- He talks conservative to conservatives, yet repeatedly fashions himself a Progressive to the "intellectual" audience.
- He plays dirty, just like his recent attacks on Freddie/Fannie when he also had stock in them.
- He constantly gives speeches and interviews praising the power grabs of Wilson and FDR and thinks himself in their image. (He even made a Wilson joke IN THIS SPEECH about Mondale!)
- He believes in federal insurance mandates and wants his own version of the EPA (which apparently isn't far off from Pelosi's vision).
- He talks executive order, executive order, executive order. Is this the precedent we want moving forward, especially next time a D takes office?
Yada, yada.
Granted, Newt is no Obama, but then again, he probably doesn't contrast enough on the key issues to beat him. He could ignite passion with conservatives with West as VP just like Palin did for McCain, but the VP is really a neutered role which is why voting McLame still turned my stomach.
Newt also thinks he'll beat Obama on debates, but Obama won't bother. He'll get one chance, Obama will lie through it all, and the media won't follow up. And then what?
In the long run, if Newt did win, he could be worse than Obama for the country. Sure, he'll pull a few of the acts he's promised and help us all for a few years, but once he pulls his first, second, etc. Progressive act, the left will have check mate - "your guy did it, so the right is a bunch of hypocrites; they're just out for the 1%; etc...". They'll use that for every election forward, and in the long run, it's epic fail.
Imo, there are only 2 conservatives left. I'm not completely sold on either, but Paul's nativity on defense makes him ineligible for military commander-in-chief (Treasury Secretary, sure).
(Not to mention, I have a VERY negative view of what Lincoln did to the republic, so those references don't help.)

In the case of wedding vows - I didn’t make Gingrich miserable in his personal life.
That is why I can still trust him.
You are mixing apples and oranges.
I suggest you don’t marry Gingrich and make him miserable - since that is the only thing you have to bitch about him.
To: TheOldLady
Retread hunting is quite a challenge compared to the outing of flagrant trolls.
However, comma, the ozone is just as sweet.

Useless,
Rick Santorum is home with his wife at the bedside of his child. Even Sarah Palin has extended an act of kindness to him in this very tender moment. I consider you to be a worthless low life to try and politicize his absence from Florida to be with a very sick child.
We have not met Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney so all that I know of them is their past record. We have met Senator Santorum, and he is truly a godly man and worthy of much more respect for his unimpeachable character and integrity than he is getting. I for one would welcome a godly leader in the White House of a nation that is supposed to be “under God”, but I am not that confident in the track records of the other candidates where integrity is concerned.
