The Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Show Thread - Friday, January 27, 2012

AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

It’s ridiculous, and does not speak well of our movement. Everyone gets mad at the host for not saying exactly what they think the host should say, word for word. It gets worse and worse with every election it seems.

Hang in there Fawn .... it’s not over ‘til it’s over. I believe Romney won the media battle last night, but lost the war. Romney himself turned off a lot of folks that would have voted for him against Obama if he were the nominee - now they won’t vote for him at all. Santorum stripped Romney bare of the ‘state vs. national’ defense he claims whenever Romneycare comes up & demonstrated for all to see that Romneycare is indefensible by Romney. No doubt, Newt made his task harder this week by being ‘flat’ in the debate, but he’s not out of it yet. There is no downside for voting for Newt - Romney can’t win, Newt has a chance ..... if Newt loses, we go down fighting which is better than trying to prop up Romney.

He’s a character from the movie “Super Bad”. He gets a fake id to get alcohol, and the name on the id is “McLovin”

It REALLY gets tiresome having to put up with the emotion-driven, hysterical knee-jerkers spamming all over these threads.

How dare you attempt to inject clear and rational thinking into this thread ! Shame on you !

"The conspiracy kooks are out in force eh?"

Caller Accuses Host of Backing "Socialist" Romney January 26, 2012

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Here is Jed in Boise, Idaho. Great to have you on the program, sir. Hello. .....

CALLER: What I called about is I hear you and a lot of the other conservative talk radio hosts supporting Mitt Romney, yet we all know that he's a socialist and nobody ever pushes that forward. .....

RUSH: I'm getting worn out! I got Romney calling me wanting to come see me trying to get me to stop being so hard on him. ....

RUSH: You think I'm sitting here supporting Romney. I spent most of a full show last week analyzing what Newt did in a positive way as to why he was getting the applause. You're reading from some script here. You're talking to the wrong host.

RUSH: I'm not choosing anybody.

CALLER: No, sir. No, sir, Rush. I have heard you yourself say that if Romney wins the nomination, that you're going to vote for him. Okay? RUSH: Yeah?

CALLER: That is supporting him. That lends a credibility to a Republican-socialist agenda.

RUSH: I'm gonna vote for any Republican over Obama! So's everybody else.

CALLER: So what...? What makes a Republican socialist any better than Democrat socialist who is in office now?

RUSH: I don't think Romney is a socialist. ....

RUSH: All right. Who are you for? Okay, Romney's a socialist. Who are you for?

CALLER: I'm for any one of the other three. But if I'm voting in the primary, I'm gonna vote for Gingrich.

RUSH: Okay.

CALLER: But if any of the other three win, I'll vote for them because they're at least conservatives. ...."

I also fear I’m too old for that kind of movie.

I prefer movies made prior to 1950, antway.

Has Rush discussed the Georgia court hearing on Obama’s eligibility? Just wondering.

I am not tuned into his show.

Rush Limbaugh just mentioned that Obama says that his economic plan is to produce things and move it around. Moving it around is the main part, and it means TRAINS, Warren Buffet’s TRAINS.

These trains are part of the multi-modal transportation corridors, known as GATEWAYS, that are part of the Agenda 21 Wildlands projects. This ties in with Obama’s executive order, creating the Rural Council, which is intended to streamline the approval process (take away from local approval) and be funded by Patty Murray’s S. 942.

BTTT. I personally don’t read into anything Rush says. I just take him for his words when he says, “He’s not endorsing anyone.”

But that’s me.

Thanks for the pep talk....I hope Newt doesn’t quit after last night. To be honest, during the debate I wondered if he even wanted the job anymore...he was bashed all week and he was probably lost his motivation. He sure looked and acted like it.....we’ll see i guess.

We still watch the funny teen movies, they can be fun. Especially she spoofs of the teen movies, they can be even funner. We refuse to grow up all the way. But we still watch TCM plenty so call us eclectic.

Not that I know of. I’ve had to leave here and there; so I can’t be certain.

I love movies that age. And my BF makes fun of me over it, too. Just the idea that you are watching people as they lived almost 100 years ago is mind-blowing.

If you ever want to see some cool short silents, look up "Beatrice Fairfax" on YouTube. From the mid-teens and most are great quality prints, too.
