Hosted by Wolf Blitzer at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Candidates: Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Ron Paul.
Word is the audience will be "allowed" to participate.
Wonder what Allah Akbar would sound like in a Spanish accent?
Zionists, we don't need no stinking Zionists.
Now we know they’re taking some illicit narcotics over there at CNN. Newt’s biggest strength is his debate skills.
I know why Rick did what he did, I was just being facetious. See post #1928.
agree Sarah has to get out here before we elect as the attacks have the sheep thinking it is true.
What a slimeball Romney is and the establishment, they lie and lie, sickening
Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, and Michael Reagan cleared up a lot of the establishment distortions of the Reagan/Newt connection today.
I believe that Governor Perry still had millions when he suspended his run.
What a debacle this debate is: once again, we’re handed the weakest of the original bunch - and bought the bullets for a circular firing squad.
Tonight, Paul says that there is a real **transfer of wealth from to the poor to the wealthy!** He laughs at us over and over - as he sets up Rand for the next election (or this one?)
Santorum just seems shallow, although he is strong on marriage and the right to life, his record is for support of big government and interference in our lives.
Romney is too new to this Conservatism to trust, and his previous absolutes sounded with as much conviction as his new absolutes.
Newt draws question after question concerning “let’s clarify what you meant when you said . . .” He has trouble with defending marriage and the right to life (he stumbled badly when he said life begins at implantation), said we don’t have “humanity” if we want to deport all grandmas, and condemns negativity with ugly, negative rhetoric.
>>>> I am watching the after the debate discussion on CNN. Very interesting. They are saying the establishment is making themselves available to media after Newts Florida events on location to dispute anything Newt says at the event. Furthermore, Donna Brazille is saying Romeny is saying different things in Florida than he did in Iowa and tomorrow the Democrats will be taking a close look at those things. <<<<
THIS is unmanageable, without the TEA PARTY drownding out their response! The word has to get out to Floridians that NEWT is being gagged by hand to hand combat tactics!
Romney just comes off as a nasty pric*, sorry.
Just watching it at the end. He appears as if he’s on cocaine. He cannot speak without stuttering, stammering. His speech is erratic.
Whatever Newt did or said, or however “flat” he was ...he’s the only one who remains calm and presidential looking.
It’s the subtle difference between a professional and an amateur.
“Astute and honest analysis, my faith in FR is somewhat restored.”
You sound like Moochelle Obama.
Rick will take away votes from Romney.
Ricks problem is that he gets just like Mitt and Newt when the pressure is on, he chokes and gets petulant.
I know that Newt says he likes Santorum, but how low can a man go to lie about your friend of 20 years? Santorum knows damn well that Newt has not been for an individual mandate for 20 years. He knows damn well that Newt and WIllard’s positions are not the same. He treats Newt with as much contempt as he treats the worthless Romney. Santorum has no integrity whatsover. He should know he has no chance at the nomination and should get the hell out because all he’s accomplishing is handing Romney the nomination on a silver platter. I don’t think Santorum gives a damn if Romney wins. If he did care, he would get out and support Newt. But if Newt’s friends are like Santurom he damn sure not need any enemies.
I like all that Santorum says and agree with all he says but the man needs to work on grammar. Even though I'd vote for him there are those who would listen the choppy talk and think he's not up for the job. Unfortunate but true.
I agree. However, general consensus here seems to be Rick is just running to steal votes from Newt.
However, Newt has not won anymore states than Rick. Why should Rick bow out?
Yes, ma’am. He will do that especially after tonight.
I just believe the Republicans have done a disservice by having so many d**n debates. I can see one or two initially one after New Hamphsire and one now. All these debates just continue to give the Dems more ammunition plus only the real diehards watch.
I don’t know what to think in FL missed tonight, but concerned if Sanity did well he will take a little bit of Newt’s juice and that will give Romney the W in FL. We’ll have to see.
That could happen. I hope so. It should happen. As long as Newt wins, I’m ok with it.
Can you post this information in a Vanity? Seems very urgent to me.
