I can only conceive of one of two things going on here:
1. The RNC is clearing the field for Romney and Drudge got the horse head message. ( If the nominee and wins, will codify all the Statist/Totalitarian gains of Hussein).
2. The RNC/GOP KNOW Romney would lose to Hussein ( insider trading means inside info. they know a big crash is coming and want Hussein and democrats to take the blame ).

Here are the 2 Romney operatives Drudge hired to run the Drudge Report last year. I wonder who is paying Joe Curl and Charlie Hurt's salaries over at the Drudge Report. Enquiring minds want to know...
Joe Curl
Charles Hurt

Not according to Gaffer. He says that Drudge doesn’t have a single anti-Newt bias bone in his body. He claims it simply a figment of our collective imaginations. So says the pro-Romney crowd.

Until yesterday's thread was posted here on Free Republic (my only reliable source for news and informed opinion), I had
never even seen the Drudge Report. Last night was my first, last and only visit to that despicable website. The anti-Newt Gingrich lies were reprehensible and revealed a extreme leftist orientation.
I've since done some checking and found that the proprietor, Matt Drudge, is a libertarian. Since he's not a genuine Christian Constitutional Conservative, neither he nor his website are of any value whatsoever to me. Everything worth knowing when it comes to the future of America is right here on Free Republic. Why go anywhere else?

When was the last time Drudge was seen? Maybe Drudge is like Howard Hughes.
He is sedated, has long stringy hair and ridiculously long finger nails and he spends his days watching Ice Station Zebra.
Who is looking after him, who is in charge of the website? The same people who looked after Howard Hughes, The Mormons. See,that explains everything.

We are at war for the leadership of the party. Flawed as Newt is, the fact remains the entrenched Establishment hates him and they’ll burn it all down to have control. We need to fight our asses off to take it away from them.
I’d also think of banning Drudge from FR just for principle’s sake Jim.

Listening to local radio here-they are saying the polls are tighting. Newt does a great debate he can get back on top-the negative ads are causing the problems-they are all day long running. Newt needs to say strongly that he is going to reform Washington and cut the government and work with Paul’s ideas about the currency. He has to take on the establishment (that if people want the same, vote Mitt)

Shame, Drudge was one of the sites that led me here all those years ago.

And to think, all they had on Governor Perry was a stupid rock.

Drudge thinks he is too big to fail.
Let’s prove him wrong.
Buh Bye Drudge, don’t let the door hit you in the butt on your way out.

The ads on some have a laundry list of Rino Republicans saying Newt is either dangerous or not a conservative. yes, the elites are drawing the line in Florida so Romney can buy his way through each state since he has more $$ to do. He is buying this Florida primary. I hope it backfires. Too bad, Rick S would not back out though he was in Florida earlier bashing Newt as not being a conservative. I hope something counter punches the Drudge/coulter/left agenda soon.
