I see he mentioned the prior radio station connection; but, I guess noone here has any idea what influence the Romney campaign may have on Rush. It appears to be considerable.

All these talking heads didn't just suddenly decide to crucify Newt on their own. They could’ve done that early in the primary if they were so deeply concerned; at a time when others still had a chance ...this is a coordinated effort and designed to take out Newt at this specific time; since he is the last viable competition for Romney.
