The appoints would simply be void. Illegal. It may mean that SCOTUS has to redo cases it has decided. The ripples in the pond from this will be spreading for years I bet.

It could be done because he became POTUS with foreknowledge etc that he was ineligible
I can just see an attorney trying to tell a judge that he didnt know he was committing a crime...
