Ann Coulter has been on an anti-Newt rage the past few weeks, and last night on the Kudlow Report, she let slip what she really thinks about the GOP voters who have responded wildly to Newt on everything from the charge of racism by Juan Williams for being for Jobs rather than food stamps, to Newt's brilliant rebuttal to Scott Pelley on national security law. She thinks they are morons--or even worse in the world of Coulter, she thinks they're Democrats!
Ann was asked by Kudlow about Newt's invincibility as a debater, and she essentially ridiculed the audiences that have cheered Newt, saying she thought it best to not hear from the so called "peanut gallery."
Is Ann becoming an elitist herself?
And are we seeing the right-wing media elite starting to act and think like the left wing media elite did? That THEY know more than the rest of America as far as what it means to be conservative, and who will best be in a position to beat President Obama.
I mean, why bother going through this whole election thing?!
Rick Tyler, with Newt's PAC, really socked it to Ann for having so little respect for the voters--and the process.
I understand “why” Ann doesn’t like Newt.
She supports Mitt simply because he’s the “best situated”, non-Newt candidate.
She can’t really defend Mitt’s record and it makes her mad that she is forced into that role.
Her level of anger makes it clear that Mitt is losing the battle and she can’t stand the thought of having to support Newt or accept Obama.
glad to say I’ve never spent a dime on her books. Mainly have only seen her on BOR & Hannity.
Coulter never had much of a *mind* ...only the canny ability to self-promote. She’s a *fake phoney and fraud* ... and believe I’m the only FReeper who said so, many years and years ago, over the howling protests of Annie’s sheeple. Where are her devout followers now? Turned on a dime. Heh.
I think the whole world is on the brink, and these people (Ann, et-al) are on the bleeding edge of it. In their quiet place, I believe that every one of them is more of a doom and gloomer than Gerald Celente. And due to these high stakes, they are coming apart when what they see as the best compromise course is not taking hold, they are getting a bit emotional. We’re seeing it with Ann, Glenn and probably will with others as we approach november and, more importantly, the inevitability of the soon coming apocalypse.

Coulter, like Oreilly, Beck, Hannity, and several other ‘talking-head-extremists’, throws firebombs purely for the sake of attracting attention. They’re all like ranting two-year-olds who stomp up and down and pee their pants. Boooooooor-ing!
I saw somewhere she dated Bill Maher. Its on the internet, and as we know, the internet never lies. That fact might defeat the "lesbianism" argument, but would certainly support the "insanity" argument.
Chris Christie has also been Newt bashing . Jeff Kuhner of the Wash. Times did a 3 hour hit piece on Gingrich yesterday subbing for Michael Savage , who himself has been warming up to Newt recently .

Michele Malkin will be on Hannity’s tv show tonite, for what it’s worth, but yeah, she has been kinda quiet.

When are conservatives going to realize that these media hounds on whom we lay so much admiration are in this for themselves and themselves only. That included Rush, Mark Levin,Coulter,and many more. Their ratings, ad buys, speaking fees go up astronomically when someone like Obama is in the White House. I’d omit Sean from this list because he’s a Long Island working class guy who still can’t believe where he is and who would IMO sacrifice his present status and career to see an Obama defeat. I think Laura Ingraham is the real deal as well, but the rest, Bennett, Medved et al are no better than free agent ballplayer who leaves his original team for a bigger payday and then pontificates how he always wanted to play for his new team. Flame away!

Actually, I think Glen would be even less likely to oppose a mormon brother. I know a lot of blacks that would not vote for the magic mulatto.

I’ve read stats that said 95% black vote cast for Obama, and Mormon polls 95% for Romney. I wish I had kept track of where these were.
