Ann Coulter has been on an anti-Newt rage the past few weeks, and last night on the Kudlow Report, she let slip what she really thinks about the GOP voters who have responded wildly to Newt on everything from the charge of racism by Juan Williams for being for Jobs rather than food stamps, to Newt's brilliant rebuttal to Scott Pelley on national security law. She thinks they are morons--or even worse in the world of Coulter, she thinks they're Democrats!
Ann was asked by Kudlow about Newt's invincibility as a debater, and she essentially ridiculed the audiences that have cheered Newt, saying she thought it best to not hear from the so called "peanut gallery."
Is Ann becoming an elitist herself?
And are we seeing the right-wing media elite starting to act and think like the left wing media elite did? That THEY know more than the rest of America as far as what it means to be conservative, and who will best be in a position to beat President Obama.
I mean, why bother going through this whole election thing?!
Rick Tyler, with Newt's PAC, really socked it to Ann for having so little respect for the voters--and the process.

I have thought that myself. It occured to me once when I saw an interview with Ben Stein. The guy seemed truly scared. It seemed to me he was willing to sign a pact with the devil if it meant he could, at least, keep some of what he had and maintain his lifestyle.
I guess you haven’t listened in a while . He says Mitt is a nice guy but that he is a milquetoast and too meek to take on Obama . I don’t think he is a big fan of Newt’s either , but made some statments on his show last week ( he’s had sub hosts so far this week ) that were pro-Gingrich and he said that Newt was the only one with the gonads to attack Obama . Let’s see what he says today - assuming he’ll be in - after Kuhner’s relentless Newt bashing of yesterday .
What universe are they living in? How could they not know that we are sick of milquetoast, reach across the aisle, my friend, moderate liberal Republican elites, and have been since 1988.
Most especially when these supposed conservatives reach levels of incomes they become self limited in only able to have liberal friends. And apparently they are drawn to the poop of liberalism because these ‘rich’ people are the best at what they do.... Well not one of them are going to take a plug nickle with them when they return to the Maker that sent them. I only regret that I supplied them with a few of their plug nickles.
Her previous books have been well reasoned. Very logical and researched and Conservative. Ever since she got entangled with the homosexual mafia she has changed. Maybe they are blackmailing her.
She is now irrational-—she adopted their non-logic that “sodomy is a right” and you have to force sodomy on children so it becomes normalized (like in Afghanistan/Samurai/Ancient greece)
Ya, Annie-—homosexual societies are all about child abuse. Pederasty is how they destroy the normal sexual identity formation in the boys. It is why all the pretty little Afghani boys can’t wait to grow up to sodomize their own harem of little boys.

If you advocate “homosexual “rights”” you are advocating child abuse, since that is how the behavior is learned. The grooming and learning of these behaviors is really EVIL, ANNIE GIRL. That filtered group has an orthodoxy of opinion and the Grassroots - who couldn't agree on whether the sky is blue by the way - suddenly don't seem so solid and common sense as they once did. Instead, they look kinda ordinary. Pundit loses track of their beginings and now is just one of many elites competing for the elite view of the Grassroots.
I think Ann's resisted this trend pretty well. I watched her at CPAC sign books for over two hours when she was scheduled for one. She was gracious and interested and cordial to every single person in that line. When Laura Ingraham came to the Freeper function in Las Vegas she couldn't have been more gracious. She was so down home you would have thought she was your daughter come home from college.
I think time and success have worn them down. The result is not pretty. I don't know anyone who has handled it better except for maybe Rush. But, there are plenty who hate him too.

Yes indeed thought provoking. My problem is that I cannot follow his many tracks of thinking, and even after all these years of presidential campaigning I cannot get to where ever there is with him. At least in the ‘beginning’ I had life’s experience to agree with Ann on exposing the corruption of liberals. But she like him have blurred the clarity of their message.
We watched her for a few minutes when BOR had her on.
She has flipped and is going past Rino into beltway mediot pretending to be a conservative.
