State of the Union style: First Lady wears Barbara Tfank (Moo in blue at tonight's doo)

In 2010, she wore red. In 2011, she wore white.

So, what did Michelle Obama wear in 2012? A politically-charged, patriotic shade of blue.

The First Lady looked regal in a short-sleeved, sapphire-blue, Barbara Tfank dress Tuesday evening for the President's State of the Union address.

Tfank, a New York and Los Angeles-based designer, prides herself upon designing pieces that are "timeless."

The First Lady's hair and makeup looked perfectly elegant as well... and we're dying to see some photos of her shoes.

I had a cousin like that, pregnant with five kids from when she was 20 to 42. Slow to get started ("Irish birth control" = don't get married 'til 30 or 35), but we last longer!

looks like a shade of blue an Israeli teacher of mine once pointed out as the shade Arabs favor to repel evil spirits . . .

I put out bird seed in the yard on plastic plates that color blue, because birds are attracted to it from the air. I guess the Arab nomads were frightened whenever a raptor landed on any blue silks hung outside their tents.

What else can be said? She never dresses appropriately. In a non-satin business suit, this color would have been-—dare I say-—classy. This satin lame dress is just cheesy. It's like a flashback to her (and Ophrah’s) outfit at the (business dress) Olympics costume. Well, give credit where credit is due—at least Mo's moved away from GOLD shiny materials.

But, I do see she has the um......oh, yeah ...long and straight wig out of storage. Must be getting all geared up for the campaign season.

Oh the positive side, I do hope she enjoyed her husband's last SOTU.

to me that seems how all African Americans dress...tight, gaudy, and flaunts...she is right in style with her own, now lets see how many rush out to buy that same dress!!!!

ever notice her slacks are all skin tight and I don't think I've seen her in many business type suits..wonder what she dressed like when she had that hospital job? no one speaks out about her from her past? wonder why..
