your analogy is flawed.. if Gingrich was going to pull a Reagan he would have raised hell last night right on the stage like Reagan did at the time... THAT was what made it special not waiting a day later and then threatening to not show up in the next debate unless he got his way.. the way Gingrich did it this morning looked bad.. evidently you didn’t see it
you never would have heard Ronald Reagan whine the day after about taking his toys and going home if he didn’t get his way.. it would have been negotiated behind the scenes not out in front of the cameras the next day...NEVER
“I paid for this microphone.”
Why do people always think they know what Reagan would do?
Newt didn't threaten to take "his toys and go home" and your characterization that Newt was "whining" is your own.
Lib-Licker Laps-up Lib NYT Lies.
You reached for that straw, now hold onto it. The people - who know that Reagan took on the media, despite it being called unpresidential, and supported him for doing it - will answer you with their support for Gingrich in upcoming GOP primary states.
“”you never would have heard Ronald Reagan whine the day after about taking his toys and going home if he didnt get his way.””
For the umpteenth time - Gingrich did NOT say anything remotely like that! Have you listened to the clip?
May God grant us patience.

Look at the link in the article. Newt was ASKED about it on Fox & Friends and answered good naturedly. No whining, no confrontation, no ultimatum.
So Gingrich is being candid about the situation. I don't know why you've got a problem with that. He recognized that NBC stifled the entire event with their stultifying rules, which did a dis-service to everyone in the country. He's now vowed to not let it happen again.
Apparently, you're also still buying the NY Times lie that he's refusing to show up to any more debates unless the rules are changed. That's not what he said.
