Seriously bad political mistake by TSA.
On the broader issue, I'd like to learn more about Israeli airport security. It certainly seems to work, but I also realize that key elements may not be discussable in public because of operational security considerations.
Also, I realize they don't have our Constitution and they may be doing things which would be unconstitutional here apart from a formal declaration of war, which we aren't realistically going to get.
But if we win the elections in 2012 I hope some Israeli airport security leaders are among the first people interviewed by the new Republican president, whoever he may be. Something has got to be done about TSA.
