I can’t think of any major answers tonight that will change anyone’s mind about who to vote for. In fact, I don’t think that much good information was conveyed about any of the candidates at all. I don’t believe any of the candidates stood out as being exceptionally good or bad.

Unlike last week’s debates, this one will be a complete non-event, I predict.

Totally agree. Newt took Romney down by simply reminding everybody what McCain and Huckabee said about him in ‘08. Romney just bored the juice out of his debate in the first 1/3 of the debate by beating the horse to death on his Freddie Mac engagement. I think it was good that Williams let this air out. After Newt released the records today they can tear it apart but there’s probably not much there.

The other thing is that Newt named 2 congressman on the Freddie / Fannie committee who said Newt never approached them to lobby. Romney claimed Newt lobbied but could not give one name of anyone who will validate that. The air is out of this balloon.
