I disagree. Every question is an attempt to get one of the candidates to criticize the others. I don't want to hear about Bain Capital. I want to hear what each will do about taxes, spending, regulations, bureaucracy, appointed judges, foreign policy and other important policies that a President deals with.
Romney Profits From Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac: Despite demonizing Speaker Gingrich for his work for Fannie/Freddie, and the continual disparaging of them on the campaign trail, Romney personally invested up to $500,000 in these organizations and made up to $50,000 last year alone. (Boston Globe, 9/19/11)
Newt got in a great line: “Romney’s done consulting for years, but I’ve never heard anyone say that consulting is lobbying”!
All the candidates need to SLOW DOWN when speaking in these debates. They’re all talking so fast that it’s easy to zone out and start snoozing.
Can’t these guys learn how to speak properly?
I think Santorum is doing good from third perspecitive, not going "Occupy/Class Warfare" on Romney (which would come back to bite us), and hitting them on bailouts, also giving a fundamental lesson on economics, free markets and capitalism. My guess? Tonight? All four of these guys are probably just plain fatigued. I don't think there will be any real zingers tonight. But I might be wrong. Maybe the press will piss of Gingrich. That might do it. We will see.
Chairs will be thrown soon, appears one landed under Williams desk before airtime already.
Here we go,,,hammering on Freddie-Mac again,,,saying Gingrich needs to release more documents.
Why isint he asking any questions about the issuses?? its all personal questions~~~~ what is NBC doing getting info for obama??
I have NEVER, EVER, LOBBIED!
GO NEWT!
Yes, sir.
LOL, ROCKLOBSTER.
Santorum attacks Romney bringing up destructive capitalism vs. productive? capatalism.
Gingrich says he never did any lobbying for Freddie Mac....never
Better than a semi-colon!
Could not get any sound from theinternet stream. So, have Hannity on.
Coming up - Fred Thompson to endorse.
“That said, I hope Daniels does a great job at skewering Obama. I’ll keep in mind that he (Daniels) was carefully and deliberately selected by the party. “
The Establishment is simply testing Daniels to see if he’s up to the job of trying to deny Newt the nomination.
He is TOTALLY Establishment, and must be stopped.
LOL! Me too.
Newt got in a great line: Romneys done consulting for years, but Ive never heard anyone say that consulting is lobbying!
Excellent! IN ONE SENTENCE! Sheesh, he’s good!!!!!
It’s ok. Newt is well prepared and he is doing well in this context. Mitt is not gaining anything here. This is soon to be a dead horse and there is not a ‘mitt’ landed on Newt.
Mitt is getting so petty
