IMO freeper jpsb went easy on you. Paul Revere, Sam Adams and the rest of the old gang would have been at the airports with torches, pitchfork, tar, feathers, fists, clubs, piss, vinegar and GUNS, long before this.
They’d have landed hard on collaborators too. I miss THEM.

You knew them? Knew what life was like under them? You KNOW how they would react to a technology that was not around at their time, and situations they didn’t face at that time?
Interesting you should mention Paul Revere, who was an ardent Federalist and did none of those things when John Adams signed the Alien and Sedition Acts.
I’d also note that while Samuel Adams was an “Anti-Federalist”, he also partook of none of the list of suggested activities when his cousin signed the Alien and Sedition Acts.
The Sedition Act was a little more threatening to liberty than a TSA pat down.
