4) He’ll play a negative campaign that will turn voters off.

Indeed. Mittens was on Faux last night and talked about how Newt was found guilty of ethics fraud, and all that work for Freddie Mac was lobbying. I know the story on the ethics issues (payback by the Dims for his success with Contract for America; he was cleared of all but one and paid only the cost of the investigation. The IRS later cleared him of the final one.) He does need to explain the Freddie Mac deal better -- seems like a fine line there.

Hello Dave. I see no one has answered your question about Newt having worked on contract as a consultant to Freddie Mac.

Newt Gingrich worked about 6 years for Freddie and was paid approximately $250,00.00 per year for his services, not a huge amount for government consulting. Freddie Mac ended the contract and there is an existing non-disclosure clause which prevents Newt from making any details public. Mitt Romney knows that fact and as a businessman himself looks ridiculous urging another to violate a business contract.

Newt Gingrich has owned three consulting businessess. He has never been a lobbyist, so Romney is lying about Gingrich’s past.
