Anyone know what the delegate count is now.

Iowa I think it was 13 for Willard and 12 for Santoorum or vice versa — since that race reversed.

Wondering if Newt took all the delgates tonight.

From this article: http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/campaigns/gingrich-wins-majority-of-delegates-in-south-carolina-whittling-away-at-romneys-lead/2012/01/21/gIQAehv8GQ_story.html

“In all, Gingrich has 25 delegates, including endorsements from Republican National Committee members who will automatically attend the convention. Romney has 33 delegates and Rick Santorum has 14.”

But I know Paul and Huntsman also have a few.

As I understood it as it was explained early this morning on C-spam, out of the 25 delegates 11 go to the winner. Then the remainder are divided up, 2 per district and alloted to the winners of each district.
