Ed Rollins says the establishment will come down on Gingrich and call him unelectable. "You will see a Republican establishment will say he cannot win and drag down the house and they will go to war on him," Rollins told FOX News.
Rollins on Romney: "He never was a conservative til he was running for the presidency four years ago. He never governed as a -- when he ran against Kennedy he wasn't a conservative, when he won the governorship he wasn't a conservative. He's trying to convince people now and it's just not sellable to conservatives."

As my last post indicates, I’m very disappointed with either of these retreads, but I’m not about to throw in the towel.
The economy is in shambles and shouldn’t improve to significant degree by November. Surely whoever runs against the socialist will run ads about 90 + rounds of golf, and expensive vacations on our dime - while American were losing jobs and homes. As much as the media has tried to protect this guy the general consensus is that he’s in way over his head and has no leadership abilities. They can trot out a litany of new regulations that have hurt small business, now they have the Keystone pipeline issue and can talk about oil prices, not wanting to develop energy here, but stay victim to the whims of OPEC, ...I could go on, but you get the drift - Obambi is a failure in the eyes of the people who will decide this election - independents and moderates.
So yes it’s bleak, but far from over.
I don't have cable TV so I have not been watching Fox all these years that Freepers have been enthralled by that TV channel. Now it is coming obvious that Fox is not on our side; its on-air personalities likely are part of the establishment--and always have been.
My dead grandmother could beat Obama. Stop listening to the MSM including FNC. Obama is a disaster and $1bil in adds isn’t enough to save him. He knows it. The media knows it, and you should grow some stones and know it as well.

The FOX team was so bad. Steve, with the beard, said Newt spoke too long. Totally disagree! I thought the others would never shut up. They were sore losers and didn’t want to give the stage to Newt. Brit’s tone against Newt was venomous. Said candidates would run for fear he would drag them down. The people are speaking and if they expect to get re-elected, they’d better get on the train. Anybody but Obama or Romney. I see so many instances where Mitt comes off as a white Obama. I must be having a dumb moment but I don’t get why so many think that Santorum will endorse Romney. Rollins was the only interesting commentator on Faux tonight.
It was a flat performance by all at FNC and outright borderline anger exhibited by Brit Hume, who is supposed to be the senior statesman reporter.
I NEVER watch CNN but I did tonight and found it much better. They had a voting line, men and women, at the bottom of the screen during Newt’s speech.
And they polled a Frank Luntz copycat Fla.studio audience that were previously undecided and all but a few are now Newt supporters after tonight.
Light in the loafers Anderson always seems to have a somewhat controlled sarcastic simmering rage when he has to talk about Republicans and Conservatives.
Tonight must have been a living hell for him. LOL.

I always liked Britt, even when he was the WH correspondent for ABC. He was a straight news man like John Chancellor at NBC and David Brinkley at ABC. Good delivery and just the facts. It isn’t until this election cycle that he has gone out of his way to really telegraph his favorite. I guess now that he is basically retired he doesn’t give a crap anymore. It is just a little sad that the last great straight newsman has given up and is picking sides.
I’d love to see her get in. But it would have to be played very well because she would only get one second to get her foot in the door.
I don’t see it happening short of a brokered convention. Or, if there is a way it could, I’d like to hear it.
