Did Paterno ever see a child in the Penn State locker room? I'm not even asking if he saw a child being sexually asaulted. I'm talking about just seeing a child there. Do you know?

I’m with you. This story turned my stomch so much that I avoided it, and not clear on what Paterno’s great sin(s) were.

I know that Paterno (spit) was made aware that he had a pedophilic rapist on his staff. I know that he allowed that monster access to his locker room where at least one child was raped.

Paterno has that on his hands and no amount of "I Love Penn State Football" will wash that stain off.

So you can defend Paterno all you want. He was a willing accomplice to the rape of children whether you want to admit it to yourself or not. That's all I need to know. He shouldn't be dying surround by his family. At best he should be dying in a prison hospital somewhere. Sadly, he's apparently escaped that fate.
