COLUMBIA, S.C. Voters battled rainstorms and tornado warnings as they streamed to the polls here today, capping a tumultuous and at times politically dizzying week of events that, by tonight, could potentially reshape the Republican presidential nomination process once more.
Extending a more aggressive phase of his campaign, Mitt Romney today renewed attacks on Newt Gingrich, calling on the former House speaker to release records related to his role consulting Freddie Mac, the quasi-public lending agency that many blame for accelerating the housing crisis.
Id like to see what he actually told Freddie Mac, Romney told reporters after visiting his campaign headquarters. Dont ya think we ought to see it? This is a big issue. Weve got a Washington insider talking about Freddie Mac, lets see what his report was to Freddie Mac, what he said to them, what advice he gave them.
His campaign sent out a press release Happy 15th Anniversary, Mr. Speaker to draw attention to the day 15 years ago when Gingrich was reprimanded by the House for ethical wrongdoing.
Yet while Romney was happy to criticize Gingrich to reporters, he avoided any face-to-face interaction with his rival......
Romney, in a week in which his opponents criticized him for being out of touch, showcased that he was doing one of the most humble chores, washing his own clothes. His son, Tagg, sent out a photo on Twitter of Romney dumping Tide into a washing machine. Ann Romney, dressed casually in a sweatshirt, removed clothes from the next machine......................

The common touch.
Romney, gun grabber...
Is he cleaning his private equity record?
Looks like it’s his first time washing clothes. He holds the soap box so awkwardly.
I assure you, if I had several hundred million dollars in off-shore accounts, there’s no way I would be doing my own laundry.

Dumping ???
Not measuring it out ???
did he know what it was ???
His first time at washing clothes ???
a photo Op ???
was Ann taking out her own clothes or some poor slobs that was strong armed into “lending” their clean ones ???
And if you did, I would have to say you have bad management skills.
No one on the face of the earth believes you wash your own clothes UNLESS you are talking about your “garments” then yes that would be true.
What happened to his personal servant? I remember in 2008 there was a story about some guy who made him PB&J sandwiches.
Yup. Just one of the people, Mitt. I send photos of me doing the laundry to wire services all the time. Another “honest Abe,” except he’s not named Abe and he’s not honest.
Doing laundry with his human family ping! LOL!
“Damn, he is getting desperate. He has clearly contracted Obama photo-opitus.”
Romney IS Obama....just not as personable or conservative.
I’ll bet you $10k that Romney couldn’t tell you what kind of hay that was to save his life.
When he gets his own planet, he won’t have to wash his own clothes.
Is the box of Tide upside down, lol? Five bucks says he thinks that laundry sink is a urinal.
what do they need 2 washers for ???
Do they think youre suppose to do “his N hers” ???
“Romney doubles-down on showing just how much disdain he has for “simple” folk, you know, the base of the GOP, conservatives.”
That’s the bottom line, isn’t it? “Hey, Ann, honey, is this how those rubes really live?”

The contract between Gingrich and Freddie Mac has a ‘no disclosure’ clause. That is publicly knowledge.
Romney is acting stupidly and unethically in calling for Newt to transgress on a contract.
And neither could Newt or Santorum or Paul or Obama tell you what kind of hay that was. And frankly, I am not making my choice based on who is the hay guru. It’s the “government crap” we need to identify and eliminate.
Mitt’s response to the MTV question boxers or briefs? “Neither acttually, mine are magic.”
