Being here, where our big 4 accountancy firms practice a form of vulture capitalism that makes Bain look like the church giving alms, I can agree.
(They audit a company, send it into receivership - we don’t have a chapter 11 provision - then strip it bare with fees while winding it up).
It was a strong and effective attack, and pressure should be kept up on Romney to disclose his tax returns. The Cayman Islands thing is going to sink him far worse than attacks that can be (and will be) characterised as left wing and anti capitalist. (I had that exact comment made to me on a thread I posted this morning)

But, time to change tack for Newt now and hit Romney on Romneycare. That has run long enough to actually have measurable costs associated with it, and is a good warm up for slapping the dems hard. Newt is more than capable of sticking it to Romney while cutting Obama at the same time!

Maybe give him a good belt on 2nd ammendment too, though I’d do that more for the primaries in the more rural states. It won’t fly in the cities - you know how polarizing guns are there, and with some cities I really don’t blame people.

Abortion, well, Newt may have a small problem as it is a moral issue and he has a little perceived problem with morality. Thanks to the tireless work of posters on here, we know the truth - but the average voter does not and, unless the MSM does the unthinkable and tells the truth, will not.

Newt still makes me slightly nervous, I admit. Unless I missed a ping his stance on foreign policy, which is the biggie that affects me, is largely unknown. He will make a strong president for the USA. That I firmly believe now. Just, no country exists in a vacuum any more, and we are kind of curious as to what we can expect.

Nice reasoned post..that is sort of where I am at with Newt. Here is my current concerns.

The "prize" is going to the highest bidder. They are buying the top seat in DC these days and it ain't pretty.

Right now Obama has the most money, that is a fact.

If the people do not get completely behind one candidate and flood him with money right now, Obama will win. Unfair, wrong, despicable...you bet..but reality.

We, the people, need to pick one guy..now, before Florida or forever hold your peace. If it goes to convention..the evil foreign wallets will come out from every rat hole on the planet all at once and the professional financiers will be ready with their ready made banks and promotional markets to collect...and we know who has those connections...slippery Romney.
