I celebrated teh Gingrich victory smackdown in South Carolina with a big mug of cream tea and Fig Newtons. Even a sour agitprop like that little ben cannot squelch my joy tonight. The only way the victory could have been more satisfying is if the Romney position were below Ron Paul’s vote count. On to Florida!

HILARIOUS.... Every channel seems to be stunned and has no idea what to think. Hume looks pissed at all get out. Madcow was like “okay” see you tomorrow. I think the Saul Alinsky comments are stunning to the media. How dare someone say this. It will be interesting to see the google of Alinsky in the coming days.

Thanks to all of you, and to you Jim, and especially to all in our South Carolina contingent for making the thread and the day's results such a rousing boost for FR, for Newt, for Conservatism, and for the Nation's chances for survival.

To have been able to deliver a hearty FU to the gutless appeasing cowards of the RINO 'establishment' is truly gratifying.

Brit just completely trashed Newt, basically saying the GOP will lose the House if he is the nominee. Brit is downright nasty, unlike anything I have seen from him.

FauxNews ended their coverage with Brit Hume stating that Newt Gingrich had the highest unfavorable ratings of all the candidates and his nomination would likely result in a massive GOP defeat in November - including the House and Senate.

I get the feeling Brit does not like Newt.

Thanks for the link. Brit just gacve a rundown of favorable/unfavorable percentages, which had Newt in last place of all the remaining candidates.

You could catch the anger in his delivery and look, as if he was trying to prove a point that was anti-Newt.

Then he confirned it by saying that no Republican in Congress will want to be seen with him on the reelection trail, i.e. zero coattails.

Something is definitely off there. Something personal. No doubt about it.

I think it's something like each county has so many, and it's winner take all per county. Then there may be a few others that go to the overall winner . . . maybe. I'm from MA.
