It's 0930 EST and there's nothing in the sidebar that looks like a live thread for the SC primary . . .
Romney down to 3 counties.
Still up by 4 in Charleston - Fairfield gone now.
Nonsense. Romney is closer to finishing third than first. That’s what tonight showed.
Why not push Romney to third in Florida? That’s really going to send a message that republicans simply do not want him?
I do believe Newt just picked up 25 delegates in SC. I am very worried about Fla. Bush may endorse Romney, Romney has already spent 7 MILLION on ads, West made some comments that were not flattering to Newt (earlier). On to some other less favorable states AFTER Fla...Nevada, Colorado and Minn. I wish the GOP would change their primary system. Newt is off the ballot in Va:( we need to fight hard on every blog we can go to and send money to Gingrich. This is a MUST win! We have two choices..Romney which is Obama lite or Newt. Let’s pray for a great debate on Monday and more standing ovations for Newt. The fight has just begun...I am basking in the glory tonight but know the war is just beginning. GOOOOO NEWT!!! WOOT! WOOT!
OH BOY OH BOY!!! Newt just said he’s not only going to fight Obama, he’s going to fight Saul Alinsky and the radicalization of America!
If Newt takes the message of American exceptionalism (which many of us hear from Rush often) to the masses of Americans including Independents and Democrats who don’t listen to Rush, the coming election could be a landslide. That is the Reaganesque approach.
Yeah. I thought there was another one too, but can’t recall and too lazy on a Saturday night to look, quite frankly.
I sure can’t say that. Liked him, but never as my number one till Iowa. Props.
Down to 2 counties for Mitt: Richland, Charleston.
36-32 Mitt in Charleston.
Well, as I said - NOW it’s over.
Congrats Newt
86 in 41-27.
Well done.
Exactly. It is far from over. The races in February will be more difficult for Newt, Katieditit.
He can still pull it out, and I think this jaw-shattering victory will help pull the momentum forward even into those less friendly states.
Exactly!
Newt’s victory speech — he says only complimentary things about Romney, Santorum, and Paul.
He also mentions Perry, thanking him for his endorsement.
Newt says he wants America to be so energy independent that an American President bows to a Saudi king.
Estimated Republican Delegate Scorecard
Bachmann __________ 0
Gingrich _________ 17
Huntsman __________ 2
Paul ______________ 3
Perry _____________ 0
Romney ___________ 19
Santorum ________ 12
We CAN do it and we WILL do it.
Let's send Romney back to New England
There was a rumor he “outed” his gay son.
He is challenging Obama to SEVEN 3-hour debates. Ouch. No chance Obama would accept but can you imagine 21 hours of having to see Obama on the television?
Gingrich VP’s short lists (he did say Romney but I won’t post the link as I think he may have changed his mind)
http://www.thestreet.com/story/11362520/1/romney-or-gingrich-would-pick-same-vp.html
He has also floated Rice on his short list
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/28/gingrich-intrigued-by-a-rice-biden-vp-face-off/
Gingrich is winging this speech, and he’s absolutely hitting it out of the park...
At the White House
Can’t play chess
Can’t play checkers
Can’t play tic-tac-toe.
“An American President who can create a Canadian-Chinese alliance is truly dangerous to America”
Yes!
