It's 0930 EST and there's nothing in the sidebar that looks like a live thread for the SC primary . . .
You're welcome!
Go Newt!
Excellent!
Gingrich Beats Media in South Carolina, 54 to 14

Prayers to his family . . .
Ouch !! How did that feel coming off your typing fingers. I heard it too. Fox is just so bad lately and I gotta watch something.
Cheers!
Martinez or West would be superb VP’s.
Faux News:
Absolute Blowout in South Carolina...
Deeply saddened Rove changes calculation...says “who wins SC, wins nomination”....not true.
lmao...Rove you punk
He didn’t even have his facts right. Gingrich wasn’t 5th in NH—that was reversed.
Oh, but he had his goofy white board!
LOL!
GREAT!
Speaker Gingrich has a very impressive win in South Carolina. The GOP insiders that have been pushing Romney need to seriously rethink their positions.
LOL!
GREAT!
THE CONSERVATIVES HAVE SPOKEN. We’ve had it with the inside-the-beltway picks.
Hey Rove ... pay attention... Newt’s in the house!
Been watching CNN or fox BUSINESS for weeks.
Reported today that FAUX has just contracted and hired a commie, and I forgot the name already,a really bad one. Heartbreak. I’m done with FOX NEWS.
No fake Ken Doll Romney as VP!!!Now I could deal with Christie as VP but would prefer West Or Martinez.Rubio would not join the tea party caucus right away he may have fell in to the insiders.
Bingo. Nice to see some folks have it right. Reagan thought he HAD to have Bush as VP to get the election - but it turned out he didn't I don't think.
If Gingrich is anywhere nearly as successful as Reagan he'll need to have a true conservative in at VP...but also someone who isn't unduly abrasive but can bring others in...like Reagan himself was.
That's a tall order - getting close to Reagan's success. Reagan was the man for the time. Reagan handled power well because he didn't really care for it. Power was only a means to an end for Reagan. Reagan's end was, in a sense, an end of power, a reduction of government power including his own. Reagan didn't seek office - the office sought him. And as the plaque on his desk said, he was able to so much because it didn't matter to him who got the credit.
This may be the most substantive difference between Reagan and Gingrich. I think Gingrich wants the power and (maybe) the glory and (I think) the credit. Yes, I hope he wins the nomination and the election, but I worry about him once he's in power. I think real success tends to flee from us when our success becomes the most important thing to us.
Carl Cameron is on describing Newt's win as a Tsunami.
Bret Beir is saying Newt is leading with women.
CNN to John King:
YOure Fired!!
LOL! Bringing me to tears laughing out loud on that one. Way to go LV Ron. Thanks for the levity.
