I agree with you that Newt, if given the opportunity, will save our butts, ‘cause we’re heading for an abyss if Obama is re-elected.

Newt is a historian's historian, and knows better than most, that America is in one of its most pivotal periods. In him, I believe exists just the right combination of smarts, knowledge, experience, sheer courage and guts, ego, and understanding of what's at stake, to get the job done.

I keep coming back to the realization that Newt Gingrich is just the sort of polarizing, enigmatic, confounding, brilliant, and daring sort of character, who has always been the type to move nations forward in their time of greatest need.

I see him as one of a long line of such people in Western history, and I really do believe that he will cause sparks to fly in DC from day one, onwards.
