You got it, DR. The image of U.S. Grant came to mind while I was writing that.

I see Newt the same way that Lincoln saw Grant. Give me a General who fights when we’re at war. Give me a leader who can spot an enemy of the people, be they a smiling perfumed prince, or a snarling turbaned barbarian. I want the kind of leader who rips out the jugular of both.

Our nation can afford no less.
