Keep in mind it was a French military man, Ferdinand Foch, who condemned the Treaty Of Versaille, saying that, "This is not a peace. It is an armistice for twenty years." The treaty of Versaille, League of Nations, etc. were constructs largely forged and influenced by Wilson and his progressive coterie...something we should all be more aware of as so many conservatives rally around a 2012 candidate who describes himself as a, "realpolitik Wilsonian."

Foch was also the man who said “The best defense is a good offense’’. A Frenchman said that, can you imagine?
