I know an awful lot of Catholics who really don't care. Unless the higher ups in the Catholic church stop making “requests” and are willing to embarrass “Catholics” like sebilius, pelosi, and the kennedys,etc., by REFUSING to serve them communion, why should anyone else obey the Catholic edicts?

Sebelius has been forbidden to receive communion for some time. There aren't any Kennedys involved in this sad tale anymore, so they're not too relevant. (Not that they ever were.)
Abp. Niederauer has dropped the ball on Pelosi, I think.
