Even though this is silly, any way to bring attention and heat on NYC for its crazy gun laws is a good thing.

By and large, upstate NY is a whole different country than New Yawk City. The people are more like other "normal" folks in the rest of the country. They are generally much more conservative and decent and not the pushy, arrogant, heavily accented, entitled, big attitude people so typical of those found in the city.

It is the city that drags the rest of the state down. It has done so since the Revolutionary War. It has always been on the side of the "enemy".

Give the tickets to the ones from the city, not the rest of the state. Most of the rest of the state would agree with Tennessee, not Bloominidiot's downtown crowd of urban dwellers and assorted welfare scum.

Laura Italiano covers real live Manhattan perps for the New York Post.

I didn't know Janeane Garofalo worked for the New York Post.

New Yorkers pride themselves for negotiating well and driving a hard bargain but they seem pretty happy settling for 80% of the Bill of Rights since they have only a trace of the 1st amendment and none of the 2nd.

Lady needs to plead innocent by reason of insanity. What sane person would voluntarily travel to NYC?

Good for Tenn! Another reason to go the big car show in Pigeon Forge this summer and to check out Nashville and visit Graceland.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

New York is violating the constitution. Tennessee should retaliate. Beware, all you New Yawkers - you drive through my state and make a wrong move and the citizens of this fine state along with our various police officers, will make you aware of OUR laws!

No big change with this.

Its well-known that LEOs and local law in Tennessee have been targeting out of state plates for decades.

"Gun nuts..."

Gun nuts in the Tennessee state legislature have declared civil war on New Yorkers — saying they will retaliate for the prosecution of a woman who was carrying an illegal pistol at the 9/11 Memorial. A resolution winding its way through the Tennessee legislature warns New Yorkers not to drive through their state — because the Highway Patrol is “gunning” for us.

Wait until Laura finds out about the proposed Wyoming and Montana legislation that would give state and county police in those states the legal authority to arrest those from states that fail to recognize Wyoming or Montana concealed weapons licenses for failing to have a valid driver's license, those drivers licenses from states which fail to recognize our state's documentation thereby to receive reciprocal treatment.

Oh, and their counterfeit license plates? Grounds for their vehicles to be impounded and crushed in mobile carcrushers on the spot.

Enjoy your visit to Yellowstone, you New York racists.
