Y’know, I’d love to see the exact leviathan bills from which some of these turkeys were extracted. Sometimes, y’know, bills that contain worthy provisions have wretched provisions in the fine print. This is not to excuse all of the bad votes, but I’ll bet that VERY few of these measures stood alone. I've been flamed repeatedly for posting that list of Santorum's Senate votes, and have invited the flamers to post his respectable conservative votes, but none of them have taken me up on it.

Seems to me they would, if their guy is the exemplary conservative they claim he is.
