I'm officially endorsing Newt Gingrich for president today. Was going to wait until after Florida, but see no reason to delay. We need Newt to win in South Carolina and Florida to stop any possible momentum building up for the establishment big government, statist, abortionist RINO!!

” I am not Catholic and the Vatican has no business legally imposing anything on anyone.”
Of course not. What I want is for complicit American Catholic politicians to impose the Vatican’s will when it comes to contraception. The Vatican itself cannot do this as America is not a Papal state.
A man whose words generate action. Congrats! I’m glad to see Fox Nation reflect the impact you’ve had on conservative politics & I hope they’re donating to the Freepathon! And an excellent choice in candidates, if I may say so myself. You just know Obama is quivering in his shoes (to put it politely) at the thought of debating Newt. :)
We simply want Newt . We will never go Rino Romney. EVER.
Another Myther, atomicweeder, bites the dust. ZOT!
To be added or removed from the Viking Kitty/ZOT Ping List, FReepmail Darkwing104 or 50mm.
You are too stoopuhd and soulless to be a Freeper.
Get off the phone huh dummy!!!!
Zot me if you must, but. I like Newt on the politics for the most part. But, seriously.. I cannot get away from him and Pelosi on a bench. From him leaving one wife with cancer another with MS. He also loves big government. Does noone remember the leftist talking points he spewed against Cantors proposal?
Now, all of a sudden he is mana from heaven and all true family values anti-global warming, anti-Obamney care conservatives are madly in love with him? Can someone explain?
Color me undecided and and disappointed in the field.
Good for FR. Now I would like to see other forums, blogs come out full force to say that if Newt does not win the nomination, all conservs will come out in force to kick out every Reid Dem in the Senate and every San Fran Nan Dem rep in the House. We need a clean sweep and even if my guy, Newt does not get the nomination, anybody but Obama. I cannot stand another 4 yrs, I am 73 and do not want to see America die before I do!
Agreed! Newt can DEBATE and WIN, you’ve got to hit those Chicago thugs hard!!!
Unless everyone who watches a Gingrich / Obama Debate is deaf, can't read Closed Captioning or are having a Frontal Lobotomy at the time, the fact that Gingrich is an Old White Guy (as am I BTW) won't be the issue.
If it is an issue, Mark Levin's description of Liberals as Drones will be affirmed.
Contrast, contrast, contrast...
“IIRC, Mitt is the only one Beck hasnt really attacked.
“
No matter what people want to think, the reality is that Beck is a Mormon, Romney is a Mormon and THAT is what is going to determine who Beck supports.
Local “Conservative” Radio host Bob Lonsberry (WHAM Rochester, NY) is also a Mormon. Guess who he was going on about being “Conservative enough” and saying we should vote for?
It’s all about the cult. Like it or not that’s the way it looks and that’s the way it is with these guys.
Hehehe. You’re very popular in webland!
open-marriage advocate!
Apparently you will believe anything you see on the internet.
Sorry, no can do.
Apparently you weren’t listening to Mark Levin’s “you are part of the problem” speech yesterday. His explanation of the “prinicpled vote, or non vote was a classic, and right on the money.
I've also gone to the FOX News site and posted this rebuttal to some of the commenters attacking you for “zotting” people: “I've been a Freeper for years, and I respectfully disagree. First, Jim Robinson has the right to do what he wants with his own private property; as conservatives, we should respect that. Second, by ‘zotting’ supporters of moderate Republicans and RINOs who keep advocating their views despite repeated warnings, Robinson has had the guts to do what the national Republican leadership wouldn't and perhaps couldn't do until the 2008 elections defeated many RINOs and the 2010 elections put many hard-right conservatives in office. Far from being a ‘90s thing,’ if anything, Robinson and Free Republic anticipated the current Tea Party movement. Free Republic is not perfect, but I'd rather support the light shed by a firebrand conservative who understands the internet than curse the darkness.”
I do not plan to vote for Gingrich; in fact, I can't because he didn't make the ballot in my state. However, I'm encouraged by Newt Gingrich's repeated references to Lincoln's policy of appointing all of his political opponents to his cabinet. I think Gingrich, unlike some in the secular wings of the conservative movement, really does “get it” about the importance of social conservatives in the Republican Party.
If Gingrich gets elected president, I believe we can expect to see some important socially conservative governors and ex-governors — people I wish were running for president this year, but aren't — in a Gingrich cabinet.
I think Newt Gingrich's model of governance, based on his years as a marginalized “back-bencher” in the House of Representatives, is Margaret Thatcher and the British House of Commons. I'm not convinced that model will work in the United States, but I do believe Gingrich is serious about including fellow conservatives in a consensus conservative governing coalition. That's not a model we're used to in American governance which focuses on a strong executive, not a legislative model of leadership, but what we've got now with President Obama sure isn't working and if my choice is between Obama and Gingrich, the choice is obvious.
Well said. Not sure if Hoodat is still around to read it.
