Summon him anyway and rake him over the coals thoroughly.

His pleading the fifth to hard-hitting righeous questions will make GREAT campaign footage.

Patrick J. Cunningham informed the House Oversight Committee late Thursday through his attorney that he will use the Fifth Amendment protection.

OK. See if Mexico wants to extradite him.

Interesting. Nevertheless, the democrat president needs to be defeated and therefore the patriots who love God and freedom and their fellowman must continue to build the assault against the dictaor or DC and his evil democrat allies in the Congress. And if, Lord Jesus willing, that bastion of thieves and liars comes down, then we can take the GOP out of the dirty liberal rino liberals. One battle at a time.
I pray the good Lord Jesus Christ will be with us and that Americas freedom loving patriot conservatives may overcome the anti freedom, money and power loving democrats so that our children may all have freedom and enjoy the blessing of God and family and private property rights.
In God we trust. Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour.

Been waiting all morning for you to post this. Cunningham now has a target squarely on his back...or behind his left ear. Or maybe a tragic accident. This could get interesting.

If he takes the fifth he should be fired IMMEDIATELY!. that’s what happens to NYCPD officers who take the fifth during Trial Room or Court proceedings. I’m sure it’s also the case with many other law enforcement agencies. If not, it should be.

A government official pleading the fifth on national television can sometimes be more damaging to a government criminal enterprise than a barrage of evasive Clintonion “I can’t recall” and “I don’t remember” responses.

That’s really amazing.

A senior official of the Department of Justice pleads the fifth in order to escape testifying before the elected representatives of the American people.

Totally unbelievable. The MSM will, of course, have other matters to focus on.

The next step is granting him immunity. That way, he has to talk, and will be free to implicate those higher up the chain of command.

One caution, though, he MUST be put in protective custody; and this must be done SOON. Dead canaries cannot sing.

Dear Mr. Patrick J. Cunningham:

Due to your lack of cooperation, we are notifying the Mexican Attorney General that the US government is willing to allow your extradition to Mexico to face charges in that country.

Enjoy your stay there.

*This how this situation should be handled. D.S.

I keep wondering (and hoping) that somewhere, sometime, someone won’t be willing to take the fall or be bought off with a raise and promotion to shut up. Could this be it?

Understandable. I’d advise the same thing. Now give him immunity.

"Romero claims Cunningham did nothing wrong and acted in good faith ...

Well, if he did nothing wrong, how could he incriminate himself by testifying? If there is no crime, there can be no incrimination.

Charge him with contempt of Congress, put him in general population in a federal prison and see how fast he talks.

Taking the fifth? He should be compelled to do so before cameras. It’s what the Dems would do.
