For whatever reason, Santorum was not able to take the momentum he should have gotten out of Iowa and roll with it.

Somehow, his campaign just can’t translate into big endorsements or wins in South Carolina (I don’t know why), but ultimately, it was probably my fault for warming up to him, since I do do seem to have the kiss of death.

Unfortunately, worrying about Iowa isn’t going to change the outcome in South Carolina or the momentum Noot has. It looks like it’s going to be Noot, the anti-Romney/Anti-Capitalist or Romney - the anti-conservative.

I can’t tell you how ecstatic I am. :::eye roll::: It’s as if Dook and UNC were in the National Championship game...the best outcome as far as I’m concerned is a meteor strike hitting both campaigns.

Newt is our guy...........gave this a lotta serious thought all nite

we need a 390 pound pullin guard to demolish the defense of the commies and the commie media . Newt is that guy

We need someone who can take the “ scorched earth “ attacks comin to the commie haters....Newt is that guy

We need a historian to re educate America about our history....Newt is that guy.

What we do not need is a saviour or new Bible or a damned new anything.

Our horizon can only see 4 years into the future and that figure in Newt

the very most important decision Newt will ever make in his political career is his pick for Vice President.

An Allen West or Sarah Palin pick and Newt will have fixed America for generations

At this point I wonder how much of that vote actually came for GOP/Conservatives.

There was NO momentum for Santorum because New Hampshire followed Iowa, where Romney claimed a win. New Hampshire is not exactly a stronghold of family values.

Santorum beat Gingrich in New Hamshire, too. The first count was in error, but it got little attention, just like the Iowa fiasco.

I really think that the Romeny campaign was guilty of ACORN-like voter manipulation in Iowa.

I would like to see a Gingrich/ Santorum ticket.

Yeah, how about Huntsman? He had more momentum then Perry, and got out sooner, was he just being a spoiler?
