Well his 11 yr. marriage currently should pull some weight....but aside from being God you cannot say if or not NEwt's changed....though many associated with Newt have attested to the fact he has...that would be a witness to the fact.
So the question really is what do YOU need to convince you something which cannot be proven as only God knows the future.
The articles already given you should have addressed your questions...because they apparently have not then I doubt there is anything which could. That's just the way you're coming across.

My question is whether or not Newt has changed his ways, recognizing that what he did was sin. If you have quotes or links where that has been addressed, please provide them.
I believe one of the times that Newt said he was sorry was the debate when they nailed Newt to the cross for the whole world to see and asked each candidate about Newt’s charcter. I was appalled by these so called christians responses. Especially Santorums cinder block and Bachmann’s millstone. They revealed more about themselves than they did Newt.
Far too much is being made of this because the media enjoys tabloid news to keep the hooked on scandals public engaged with the election. Stunning reflection of the American people and media....I’m sure the International community is loving the show.
Additionally, every time this typw of nonsense goes on the airwaves people stop watching what Obamas doing...and or the things in progress. It’s all just tabloid hype just as it was with Cain.
This isn’t about Newt’s sin as you know...it’s about selling the news and keeping the dumbdowned public engaged...along with trashing our candidates so Obama smells like a Rose when all is said and done.

Absolutely a class act by Gov. Perry.
I felt bad for him after Iowa, when he went home to “reassess”, and he was flat-out told by his financial backers that they “didn't give money so he could drop out before even one Southern Primary,” and they basically forced him to stay in the race.
I can't tell you how much respect he just earned from me, for doing this, before the South Carolina Primary, DESPITE what his big-money backers wanted him to do, what they pressured him to do. He did the right thing, and basically told his money backers to stuff it - this is what is right for the country. Perry knew it, and he did the right thing.
Good job Gov. Perry. And THANK YOU Gov. Perry!!

I'm really sorry about Perry, altura. I was only leaning toward Cain and I felt very angry that he was forced out because of slander. I know how much you supported Perry, and I know you're hurting today.
But I have confidence that God has not given up on this country, and that HE is still at work, and I am praying for His will in this election.
God obviously has other plans for Rick......for now. :)

I almost posted earlier how much I can respect your response to all this, altura. I know how much you were supporting Perry. I hope my dad is dealing with today’s news OK. He was backing Perry too.
At any rate, I have found out the answer to my questions from others who did not belittle my question in doing so.
The question has nothing to do with ME, caww. It was a legitimate question that a whole lot of Christians have asked, and will be asking, and you had better be prepared to answer the question without including condemnation of the Christians asking it.
A whole lot of us believe that morality is a big issue when looking at a presidential candidate because morality is a big issue Scripturally.
As I said, others provided the answers, and I have thanked them here.
There are a lot of hurting people today. I hope that the honorable way Perry handled this will help. At least a little bit.
