I have a lot less respect for any spouse that would make the "open marriage" suggestion than those who skulk around. At least the skulkers appear to understand the concept of shame. Isn't fidelity supposed to be some kind of, I don't know...vow? To ask such a question of a spouse, to say, essentially, "I have so little regard and respect for you that I want you to know of my intention to break my vows and I encourage you to do the same..." Yeah. I think Newt's idea of conservative principles differs slightly from mine.
Nice. I’m sure all those people out here that have a spouse in the same situation, really appreciate being stuffed in the same moral box as Newt. Many people actually respect their marriage vows.

What guy would not want that arrangement? One with depth of character. One with integrity who honours his wedding vows. One who truly defines marriage as between one man and one woman. What kind of guy would want that arrangement? Smarmy, sleazy, slimey and one with a problem only Bob Dole can solve.
