"In other words...boring."

In 2008, people went for the exciting, dynamic, even "fresh, clean and articulate"...

...how's that workin' out fer ya?

Hey, I’m the businessman, I’m the most conservative or I’d like to bloody his nose. Who has the passion for America?

What ‘con’ do you prefer?

Newt doesn’t have passion for anything other than selling himself to the rubes.

I’m voting to save my own soul because America is finished when the choices are Obama, Romney or Gingrich. Good luck and try not to act too surprised when your charlatan screws you.

Call me strange. Call me harsh. Please call me politically incorrect. I absolutely believe there is a place in so-called civil society where there are bloody noses and knock outs. Death is a far cry from either. I'll take either instead of enslavement by our current government.

Newt speak needs to be widely adopted. The enemies of America (the Obama Administration) bloodies noses and worse everyday. Just read your local paper. The thugs committing everyday crime are Obama's people.

Remember to abuse your neighbor that belongs to a union, and in particular teachers. They ARE the problem and they voted for Obama. Even if they didn't vote for Obama, they need to proactively work against their union and fight for liberty and self responsibility. Abuse them liberally. They are enslaving your children.

Romney: “I don’t just want to take Obama elk hunting. I want to take him MOOSE hunting!”

What Romney should have said is “I want to take Obama elk hunting with Dick Cheney!”

Unfortunately, America is now populated with liberals, progressives and neo-socialists.

The same language that caused a standing “O” in the Republican audience will cause shrieks and howls in the general population.

I don’t think we are quit there yet. But close...

I am not sure Obama would even risk debating Romney.

Nor would I. Which makes the selection of a candidate based on his debate ability a risky proposition.

I’m voting to save my own soul

Putting your faith in gov't/man? You don't save your soul by voting - that's not how it's done. You start out wrong, you end up wrong and your posts show that.

"There is NO ONE holy like the LORD; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God". 1 Sam 2:2

So the 'self righteous' can drop the facade - they aren't fooling anyone. God doesn't use a sliding scale.

Good luck and try not to act too surprised when your charlatan screws you.

I have no charlatan - but if you vote for your charlatan - he'll screw America, not just you and you'll probably spend the next years defending him because his 'I'm the most...' will crumble like a cheap suitcase. You can't do what you have no giftings for and America should not be used for him to learn his 'self righteousness' lesson.

Let him grew up and learn that lesson solo - not on America's back!! Then he can deal with his lying!

I don't want Gingrich as the nominee because he will unify the liberal base. Gingrich is counting on his crushing Obama in a debate to insure his victory. However, he comes off as a grumpy old white guy trying to beat up on the first black president who too many say is trying his "best".

I don't think a debate will win this election for Republicans. I think Americans crave someone that has good ideas that they believe they can trust. That's why I think Santorum is the better candidate. I don't think he would be too much of a hothead and Americans are looking for stability and sincerity.

” - - - the conservatism of Perry (minus the immigration position) -—”

You bring up an interesting point. Perry was doing well until his permissive views on illegal aliens was revealed. I think he knew that his Campaign was over then as he had been on the wrong side of the law for to long, and that knowledge distracted him terribly during his early debates.

Will the GOP have a plank in their platform on how to make America hostile to illegal aliens, or just learn nothing from Perry’s lack of understanding the voters strong opinion on those who are not here legally?

Had Perry done what we have been pleading for him to do in Texas regarding enforcing the laws, and expelling the illegals, Perry would probably be the front runner now.

Gov. Rick Perry does NOT have "permissive" views on illegal aliens. In fact, I believe he is the only candidate who is telling the truth.

He wants the border sealed, drug cartels killed off and NO amnesty.

Gov. Perry and Texas have had to realistically deal with the mess wrought on border states by Federal action and inaction. There is no more we can do to alleviate the problem with the Fed's foot on our neck.

Every request is met with silence, scorn or a bandaid. Every legal challenge is met with the US Attorney Gen. and Federal Courts tying the state up in court. Federal immigration laws on the books are ignored and/or become a financial burden on the state and businesses.

Currently our redistricting map here in Texas is tied up in the Supreme Court (this will bump Texas out of the Super Tuesday vote) and our Photo Voter ID Bill is sitting on Eric Holder's desk, awaiting his approval.

"Gov. Rick Perry does NOT have "permissive" views on illegal aliens. In fact, I believe he is the only candidate who is telling the truth. He wants the border sealed..."

Let's start by "telling the truth" about Perry's record on the issue. How has Perry "realistically deal{t}" with the invasion and occupation of America?

- Perry championed the Trans-Texas Corridor (NAFTA Superhighway).

- Perry has called a border fence "nonsense."

- Perry would not support a version of Arizona’s SB 1070 for Texas.

- Perry opposes E-Verify.

- Perry championed the Dream Act.

And it has been these positions that have generated the substantial donations, from Vichy businesses benefiting from the sellout of American sovereignty, that have kept his current campaign for the GOP presidential nomination alive - when it has been so lacking in popular support.

Perry's idea of dealing with the invasion and occupation of America is to collaborate with its leaders - in exchange for photo-ops he believes will ingratiate him with Hispanic voters.

Vote for the lying liberal scumbag if you want. Its not my problem. I already know Gingrich will screw us but at least I don’t have to play a part and I’m man enough to face that truth.

Seems that most conservatives have become such complete and utter cowards that they can’t even acknowledge the serious flaws with Gingrich.

Have you faced Santorum’s flaws? Did you know he voted for a pro abortion judge who is now on the Supreme Court? Does the name Sonya Sotomayor ring a bell. His flaws aren’t just lying.
