Former House speaker Newt Gingrich said on CBS This Morning on Tuesday that he will likely not drop out of the race should front-runner Mitt Romney win the states primary on Saturday.
The deciding factor, Gingrich said, will be Romneys margin of victory. If hes at 25 or 30 [percent], were still in a serious race, Gingrich said. If he gets up to 40 or 45, you have to be realistic.
But Gingrich said he didnt see any evidence that Romney would sweep the state. Last week, Gingrich said Romney would be the likely nominee if he wins South Carolina.

Soros, George.
Amen!!
Right now Newts in 4th.
OK,I’ll bite. Which poll has Newt in fourth?
The delegates poll?
Uh, Santorum won Iowa.
He’s going to Florida. See you there.
So the one with a primary win who successfully defeated Romney has to get out?
No sale.
What an ego.
You’re referring to Santorum? After his stunning showing in Iowa he has been going back downhill, finished 5th NH. My personal favorite among the anti-Romneys was always Rick Perry——although I have recently been turned off with his ridiculous attacks on Bain Capital. And Newt, my God, that guy is carrying enough baggage to capsize the Titanic and even a bigger ego to boot. No doubt he will supply Axelrod and Plouffe a treasure trove of ammo to finish him off in the general election. No doubt Newt’s bombast appeals to red meat GOP voters in the primaries. But the voters in the general electorate will soon tire of his inflated ego, thin skin, and professorial lecturing.

Um....Romney ran how much in tiny Iowa against Santorum? And how much in Iowa against Newt? Was it three million?
The fact is that Santorum essentially tied with Romney, because Newt was crushed, and Perry was out and said so following the count. Those were our three non-Romneys.
When Romney ever puts the bead on single digit Santorum..
...POOF.
Blast away, but I wouldn’t say any of it directly to Newt without your helmet. The one with the little propeller on it. LOL!!
Delegates don’t mean a lot this stage of the race.

Santorum beat Newt in NH.
Tiny Iowa?
Iowa - 3 million people.
South Carolina - 4.5 million people.
Delegates > Polls.
I live in Florida, and the problem is that all the GOP “leaders” are coming out and endorsing Romney - right now. My representative, John Mica, who I used to like, just endorsed him yesterday, and of course the rumor is that Jeb Bush is going to endorse him.
I’ve seen Romney (and Paul) signs all over the place here in North Florida.
I hope Gingrich does really well in SC and the others drop out so the voters can focus, but it’s going to be an uphill fight. That said, one of the things I like about him is that he’s a fighter.
he'll take the dive once everybody else is done...
“Hes going to Florida. See you there.”
If he goes he will be riding Greyhound as he will be out of money.
All these Southerners in SC know of Willard the liberal’s position on abortion, homo-marriage, anti-guns, socialized medicine. He’s the same fake and fraud liberal he was four years ago and he didn’t fool anyone, finishing in 4th place.
One month ago Newt Gingrich was leading Willard the liberal by 15 points in SC and about the same number in national polls. Then came the lying, pathetic, negative Romney ads at Gingrich. His numbers fell in Iowa and the Amway salesman Romney managed to eck out a win of 8 votes. But the ads did what this fake and fraud leftist Romney wanted them to do. Newt Gingrich went from being the front-runner to finishing 4th in Iowa. Within days a new poll came out and said Romney was now the new leader in SC and it was almost doubling up Gingrich. I guess SC primary voters all get local Iowa stations. Point I am trying to make is this. Do not believe these polls. If Romney (who is despised in SC, and finished 4th in 2008), took the lead in SC after a couple of weeks of negative ads, the polls might have some merit to them. I am from SC. My brother still lives there. He’s retired and loves politics. He told me the negative ads against Newt started last week. He told me to hell with those polls, he has never met anyone in SC that intends on voting for Willard the liberal. He thinks Newt will win. So do it.
We can’t all drive rolls.
