the people, even here on FR, refuse to back honor anymore.

Hmmm...Not posted to me, but why?

Because they don't support your favorite politician?

Then you have idiots that gloat like one of the posters pinging the Perry list, wanting to 'know how they "feel" about this. Here's how we feel about it a-hole: you get the government you deserve and when things start getting really nasty (you ain't seen nothing yet), you & your family should be kicked back out in the street to confront the nightmare you have levied on all of us. THAT's how we feel about it noobie a-hole

You seem angry and slightly hysterical Ms. Outlaw.

How can ya tell American's get the government they deserve, when people like Perry and Bush, pandered to and aided, abetted and rewarded millions of illegals? The result of this compromised and undermined our entire system, including our very electoral process.

Above is a pic of Dallas Texas 2006, as 500,000 illegals and their supporters marched on Dallas, while making demands and shoving foreign flags in your face.

This all occurred under President Bush while Mr. Perry was governor of Texas. Not Carter, not Clinton...But Bush and Perry...

Not enough?

Then Mr. Perry lends credibility and legitimacy to racist, 100 percent pro-illegal alien organizations by attending their conferences. No enough? Not long after that, Perry tells Americans they don't have a heart in regards to this epic, violent, country killing invasion of our laws, borders, sovereignty.

Who ya gunna blame Ms. Outlaw?

When a man of Rick Perry's caliber is denigrated and ridiculed, by so-called conservatives, it's over.

Get REAL!! Did you think Perry was just going to show up and get coronated? Perry had his opportunity and blew it himself. If he had come into the race and pulled off just a string of average debates instead of the disasters he put forth he would probably be in Romney's position right now.

I find it pitiable that you proclaim your demi-god Perry's sanctity while gladly trotting out of the sins of everyone else.

Really? I thought it was over when Rick Perry denigrated and ridiculed conservatives.

How did we get here?

George Bush was an 8 year reminder on how a true leader must be able to properly articulate his beliefs and convey his values in a meaningful way to the people and congress. GW was a painful failure in that area.

Perry reminded too many people of GW. Texas...Terrible debate performance...not prepared for interviews...in the end, he could not properly or meaningfully articulate conservative values.

The comeback later was meaningless as the first impressions had sunk in deep in the public conscience.

As nice a guy as he seems, he didn't pass the initial interview. That's about it right there.

A smooth talker like Obama or Romney is not what we need. Perry communicates just fine like when he defended our marines in last night’s debate. Unwilling to have these marines labeled as despicable:

Perry ““Let me tell you what’s utterly despicable: Cutting Danny Pearl’s head off and showing the video of it. Hanging our contractors from bridges, that’s utterly despicable.”

He refused to play the politically correct game and answered with conviction and passion. That’s a leader.

How is he incompetent, compared to other Governors. I suppose you could slice & dice any of the records to get the right spin but TX is in great shape. People I know are talking about moving to TX because of business opportunities and the fact their housing market is comparatively stable.

Perry should get credit for some things, but not for everything as some would have you believe. There are many advantages that Texas offers, that have absolutely nothing at all to do with Perry. Balanced budget, natural resources that were created millions of years ago, location, structure of the government, the high tech and erospace industries that started before Perry was born, etc. are all things that Perry has no influence over.

But even though I'm a Perry critic, I'll admit that there are things directly attributable to him. One that I came across recently that surprised and impressed me was that he made a trip to China in 2010 and strongly encouraged the Chinese to invest in Texas' oil and gas industry. Guess what? They did. To the tune of $2 billion being invested in Texas oilfields.

This video was recorded not long after he made the trip to China - he talks about the trip around 9:40 into the video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgjFXCcz2g4.

The result? Later that year:

http://www.chron.com/business/energy/article/Move-by-Chinese-to-lift-S-Texas-boom-to-new-high-1617593.php

China's national oil company, CNOOC, will spend $2.2 billion to drill in partnership with Chesapeake Energy Corp. in the Eagle Ford shale, a rich oil and gas formation that lies under 11 counties.

Exploration in the Eagle Ford already has brought newfound prosperity to South Texas' hardscrabble farming and cattle country, and Chesapeake said the ramped-up drilling could bring 20,000 jobs to the region.

See these boots that Perry gave the Chinese foreign minister on his trip to China?

Think of each one of those boots representing a $1 billion investment in Texas oilfield, or 10,000 jobs. And there is more to it than that - he also got the Chinese to invest $1 billion into a pipe manufacturing facility in Texas.

It didn't happen overnight either. Perry worked for months on getting the Chinese to invest.

This is Perry hosting a reception with the Chinese Consulate General of Houston a few months before he made his trip to China:

While other candidates have talked about trade wars with China, Perry went to China and brought back Chinese investments. Perry talks about his foreign relations experience with Mexico, but he really should be talking about his foreign relations experience with China.

Did Obama go over to China and get them to invest billions in our oil and gas industry? I don't think so. He's only interested in shipping jobs to China. Perry is interested in bringing Chinese money here.

He obviously never noticed Americans have been jack-hammered and economically gang raped by millions of Mexicans, who have absolutely no repect for our rules, laws or borders.

He's "noticed." He's a border governor. Perry is the only candidate who intends to actually do something about this and you are working against him.

He wants the border sealed, drug cartels killed off and NO amnesty.

Gov. Perry and Texas have had to realistically deal with the mess wrought on border states by Federal action and inaction. There is no more we can do to alleviate the problem with the Fed's foot on our neck. Lawyers just eat up your tax money futilely battling it in the courts. There are some battles, where you know from experience, that the deck is stacked against you.

Every request is met with silence, scorn or a bandaid. Every legal challenge is met with the US Attorney Gen. and Federal Courts tying the state up in court. Federal immigration laws on the books are ignored and/or become a financial burden on the state and businesses.

Currently our redistricting map here in Texas is tied up in the Supreme Court (this will bump Texas out of the Super Tuesday vote) and our Photo Voter ID Bill is sitting on Eric Holder's desk, awaiting his approval.

The Truth Found a Voice in Rick Perry

That was one of my main problems with his supporters. They seemed obsessed with his appearance and if one didn’t see his so-called good looks, one got hit with all kinds of smears. The photos were embarrassing!

Oh no kidding dragnet? And you think your candidate, whomever that might be, is going to magically snap their fingers and make it all better? Right... You better do some digging. All those ‘illegals’ were there because of Gov Perry? Right...

What about the thousands that showed up in AZ a couple of years aga or the ones that have over-run CA?

No matter what explanation, no matter what actions have been taken, people like you insist it’s all Gov Perry’s fault.

Even when Sheriff Arpaio endorses Rick Perry, it’s not good enough. Instead he’s accused now of going soft...senile etc.

Not hysterical, just calling a spade a spade. Jesus Christ Himself would be running and there would be those of you that would slam Him over ‘love your neighbor’ thing.

Don’t lecture me dragnet...you go support your candidate that has no where near the experience. It’s still a free country....until 2013. Then who are YOU going to blame dragnet?
