GOP Debate
(Excerpt) Read more at live.foxnews.com ...
amen.
could not have said it better.
>> “Let Sarah do what she does best ...get candidates elected all throughout the country to the Senate and House. Its what SHE does best.” <<
.
The only way she could have done that was to be the nominee. She backed out, and that is the end of her coattails.
.
This was not Mitt’s best night. He seemed often rattled and like a deer-in-headlights mode. He won’t release his tax returns and got rather huffy about it. He is a tower of platitudes.
Newt is just so much fun to watch and listen to and he was on fire.
Perry had a great debate — when they gave him a chance to talk. I wish he would have walked from behind his podium to the center of the stage and demanded equal time.
Perry and Newt will play well in Florida. I don’t think Santorum will capture Floridians, though maybe some snowbirds. His eagerness is almost embarassing.
Ron Paul. He was actually doing quite well until they got to handling terrorists, but he is absolutely and utterly right on suspension of habeas corpus by Obama.
” Newt knows that Palin would give him strength in the whole country. “ <<<<
Stay in your alternative universe if you wish. It will not be a ticket anywhere NEAR Sarah Palin. Besides, she said her family needs her, and she has that new house in AZ. What’s to care? Her future is shrinking after the use of her to hype the election news. After that? curtains.
Your choice/Your choice 2012 = Communist takeover of the U.S.A.
I wouldn't think anyone would be proud of winning Iowa - since only 49% of those that voted were republican - why on earth democrats should be able to vote is beyond me. Of course, democrats are voting for the ones that obama can beat...
To me, the Iowa vote not going for Newt shows they know he'd wipe the floor with obama...
but, Iowa gets to set momentum - not right
Agreed. I want to see a serious bump in poll numbers after that debate. Standing ovation!
I know a lot of people like Santorum. I do too...most of the time. but tonight, not so much. He keeps decrying romney’s ads against him, and talking about how he beat Newt in Iowa. But the only reason he beat Newt in Iowa was because of romney’s hit ads against him...and then Rick never said mumblin’ word about it. But he was sure quick to jump Newt for the bain thing. That just bothers me.
The same people can vote hundreds of times using a multi-proxy and disabling cookies. Ron Paul has the hacker vote, his doper mujahadeen know exactly how to do it.
As Santorum just elaborated with Hannity....Newt’s plan initially creates more deficit spending, but would have been GREAT to do when we were running surpluses.
First get the jobs back, then start to whittle away government burro-cracy and regulation, and empower the states to take more responsibility for themselves instead of relying on other states to carry the burden for poor choices they’ve made at election after election.
This was not Mitts best night. He seemed often rattled and like a deer-in-headlights...<<<
For sure, Mitt was rattled tonight! And watching Santorum do a Bachmann II, on Hannity, against Newt, HE was rattled by Newt’s splendid performance. Undeniable, and a threat to Santorum EVER catching on fire in the next few days. There are only FIVE days left! Newt will see movement in his favor, and Rick Perry does get the “most improved” award.
Just got back from the debate. It was great to be there. I’ll have to read the comments to see what you all thought about it now.
harumph!
I think the difference Newt and Perry made tonight is that Mitt is not going to be crowned by the SC primary, and other primaries will now be impactful. I’m sure lots of Floridians were watching.
Huffy is the word I have been looking for for weeks. Romney gets huffy. The prelude to a hissy fit.
Poor Santorum. Newt knocked him out of his tree tonight, and RS knew it very well. Sounding like Bachmann in one of her several more desperate moments, Santorum was seeing headlights and ONcoming himself. Five days to a Newt victory in South Carolina, or bust.
.
Take another look at your boy’s stance on illegal aliens.
Santorum:
Voted AGAINST increasing the number of immigration investigators:

SANTORUM: Trim Social Security now- even if painful.

You condemn Newt for his divorces and adultry.
I can forgive him.
Newt says he has gotten right with God and changed his life.
God has forgiven him. Why can’t you?
Santorum tells us every five minutes he’s against abortion, he’s a wonderful family man- and that’s well and good, but we need a strong, brave man with the intellect, experience and debating ability to bring the Marxist/Muslim down.
That man is Newt.
.
My conservative senators voted opposite from Santorum.
Talk is cheap and his words don't support his voting record.
You go vote 6,210 times and tell me how you do.
That is one of the dumbest comments I have ever read on FR and I will have been on here 14 years next month.
