DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) - A woman is in the hospital after witnesses say she was assaulted at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant in Dearborn over the weekend.
Family members tell FOX 2 the woman was celebrating her grandson's seventh birthday Sunday afternoon when she asked patrons at a nearby table to clean up their language. "She said, 'please don't use that language with children,'" said the victim's daughter told. "They told her to 'shut the f--- up and turn around.'"

The only good thing about Chuck E Cheese, is that letting your kids go there helps to build up their resistance to germs.

I’ve never been in a Chucke Cheese - maybe a good thing. Neither do I “carry” anything for protection. I live in an area that is about 90% Republican, but naturally there are still bad guys. I was thinking about getting something like pepper spray - maybe I should do that and quit putting it off.

Youre right, of course, but in Detroit there is even more misery than normal; massive unemployment, thousands of houses foreclosed or abandoned, whole neighborhoods gutted, etc. And Why, Pray tell, do you think it is?
Democrat mayors since Jan 1962, democrat governor 2003-2010. Pretty much the same story wherever there is major urban blight.

You misunderstand me. Of course there is a 1%; lots of them. Top 1% wealthy. Top 1% athletic ability. Top 1% musical talent. So what? Live with it. Life isn’t fair. You seem to be wasting your energy being envious of them. If it is so important to you find the 1% of something that you can attain and work your butt off. Or, you can be like me and not let the lives of others bother you, since it’s NONE OF MY DAMN BUSINESS.

Try running for office as a popular third party candidate. Every petition must be properly formatted, every deadline, every election reg must be met or else. Third party? Hell, try running as a conservative Republican in Virginia! Unless you are the party's designated candidate (or in Paul's case, designated court jester), don't even bother trying. Your primary candidate has been picked for you (or you can vote for the court jester as a protest)! Don't like it? Shut up and eat your peas!

It says that this is the third violent incident at a chuck e cheese in the metro area. We gotta ban children from those places, for the safety of the employees.... Hey it worked for smoking at bars....

Actually that neighborhood is not bad at all. It is mostly blue collar whites. I can’t vouch for the Chuck E Cheese, but generally that area is not bad at all. That said, if you come to Dearborn stay away from Fairlane mall. It is about 3 miles towards Detroit from the CEC.

I know this neighborhood well. I grew up there and go back frequently. This is a virtually all white middle class section of Dearborns west end. This Chuckie Cheese is frequented by all races and classes. If the story didnt mention anyones race, then for all I know it could have been a hillbilly dust up.Exactly, I know that neighborhood well and it's nowhere near ghetto, as many are implying here. That particular zipcode is 94% white and 1% black and much safer and well-to-do than the average neighborhood.
