Unlike Perry people, I can openly criticize my mayor for getting involved in this mess. He was a good mayor but terribly wrong on this issue. And he had no business messing with Texas the way Bloomberg has no right to mess with gun laws in other states.

Giuliani had Big Plans-—he opened a law office in Texas to facilitate the TTC project-—his law client was the Spanish company, the beneficiary of the Texas govt’s enminent domain land grab.

Giuliani clearly needed the Governor’s help to eminent domain the thousands of acres needed to get the project off the ground.

Hard to believe they just let it drop——there was so much in it for the politicians-—for everyone except the unfortunate Texans targeted for the land grab.

Must be a Plan B lying around somewhere.
