I thought it was an astute observation on the part of someone who doesn’t think they follow much...:)
Well, in my youth I liked to play sports. I learned the tactics of the games. Once I grew older and wasn’t playing anymore, I stopped watching professional sports. I know next to nothing about the teams and players these days.
