That is so last year...GO BLUE!
But, because Packer fans have class, good luck to you and your team.

Forgot to give you credit for calling an overtime in one of the playoff games.
I missed it. Had to go to a party that day.
Seems I missed a great game and a new overtime rule being inserted.

Hope we get better refereeing than last week. Someone please tell the refs (and the announcers and coaches too) the when the ball breaks the plane of the yard to gain for a first down, the play is not over. And if the person holding the ball pulls it back, or retreats, without being touched by an opposition player, he doesn't get the greatest ever forward progress of the ball.

My idea would be to do the traditional bowl games, and then after that select the four best teams for the playoffs. I don’t think we need to completely scrap tradition to get a playoff.

Yeah but instead we got an OT finish that would have been the same under the old one.

I’m not looking for too many bold pronouncements on Tebow or Brady or Brees, etc after the thread beat down last wk on that guy post Broncos comeback.

Yeah refs have become a bit too quick on the draw with their whistles.
To: dfwgator
That seems to best compromise solution available.
To: Dysart
Yeah it got pretty rough.
To: Flycatcher
If Alex Smith can avoid the any TOs, then SF has a good chance to pull this off at home because they match up pretty well.

Oh, and Harbaugh seems to be at this point anyway the young, dynamic coach the Cowboys thought they had. Still, a little hard to judge since SF has superior overall talent and especially depth.

Bingo...exactly what I’ve been saying for years.
4 teams play one more game....2 teams play two more games....and all the bowl people get to keep their parties, perks, and power
Seems easy enough to me!

To: Dysart
I don’t think we’ll think the same thing about Madonna in a few weeks. :)
To: Dysart
Yes they do. The Niners' big weakness is their red zone scoring -- or lack thereof.
They have to match touchdown with touchdown today.
