They weren’t. Heck, their strategic thinking doesn’t seem to go longer than 4 weeks.
Two candidates on the gop ticket were thinking, though. One was mitt romney. The other is Ron Paul and his supporters.
Well it wasn’t getting the best available Conservative into office, that’s for sure.
