Newt Gingrich has called on the Super-PAC funding a series of ads critical of Mitt Romney's job creation record at Bain Capital to fix inaccuracies in the ads or remove them from the air.
I am calling for the Winning Our Future Super-PAC supporting me to either edit its King of Bain advertisement and movie to remove its inaccuracies, or to pull it off the air and off the internet entirely," Gingrich said in a statement released Friday.
Furthermore, I am once again calling on Governor Romney to issue a similar call for the Super-PAC supporting him to edit or remove its ads which have been shown to contain gross inaccuracies, something the Governor has thus far refused to do."

Fortunately for Obama, it's going to be very difficult for Romney to make all these points in a 30 second ad.
The link doesn’t work. But if you are looking for critiques of the movie, here are a few that have been posted here or have crossed my desk:

You know SoL, this whole dump on Romney issue is ill-advised.
What’s the motive of running this negative stuff? Why it’s to damage the opponent. Is that what is taking place here?
Neither you or I are backing Romney. I wouldn’t vote for the guy. I’m not sure your stance on that.
The point is, this dirty laundry campaign has actually caused both you and I to do a double-take, and actually defend Romney. Frankly, that’s the last thing I want to be doing here, but I will not sit by and watch folks slam him for doing things that were legal, and things that were not as described.
Here you reveal how he wasn’t even part of the company when these things were done. Not only does it fail to harm Romney, and cause us to defend him when we don’t really want to, but it also destroys the people the adds are intended to benefit.
Talk about a fail, fail, fail...
Obama won't have to use the now discredited ‘King of Bain’ video of as a source, he will just run ads of ‘conservatives’ like Newt to get his 99%er message across, as MSNBC is doing daily now.
‘King of Bain’ strikes one hell of a similarity to Moore's recent ‘Capitalism a Love Story’.
If there is a real debate on any serious issue on this I can't find it. It's all 'look at the other guy because he is bad so vote for me' but when I look at either it makes me ill.
I was watching MSNBC liberal the Chris Hayes show this morning and he pointed out something that I thought of just yesterday myself : The ‘King of Bain’s Romney came to Town’ video (I posted a link to for reference) the main source of the information being used for so many comments lately is strikingly similar to Michael Moore's ‘Capitalism a love Story’.
They both trot out the victims of greed and portray completely single sided narrative about the rich and powerful making money at the expense of the poor voter, taking their home in one movie, then taking their jobs in the other, Both movies are plagued with factual errors and intentional omissions.
I notice the Bain’ version victims tend to bring out the victims as poor Southern white hillbilly type personalities to target a certain viewer, where Moore likes to use lots of black and minority victims in his to target others.
Even if Romney beats Obama, he might turn out worse than GWB (And I believe that GWB begat Obama) on global warming, spending (especially to buy indulgences for being a "vulture capitalist"), and so many other "moderate" sins to which the GOP flesh is heir.
Yeah, I know I shouldn't be such a pessimist. Maybe Romney will beat Obama and be a much better POTUS than I fear.
pessimist ???
in my lifetime the running joke is that politicians are liars...period...
there comes a point where they know its 'get what we can get' before the TSHTF, one way or the other...
the masks are off, we're being fed the crap sandwich, and givin a 'choice' to eat or hoist the pirate flags...
Back in 2009 it would have been even worse with McCain and that Democrat congress. Nothing but bad would have come out of a McCain or Romney POTUS 2009.
Jim DeMint on the Morning Joe last week spelled our a probably overly optimistic possibility. That would be a conservative congressional majority filibuster proof. Then he said the SPECIFIC Republican POTUS wouldn't matter that much because they couldn't lead, RINO or not.
He said what I have said many times, we need a Scott Walker as POTUS.
Not just yet but the last five sandwiches left on the menu to pick from don't look very good to to me. Much like 2008 I have to wait and see how it goes.
Well your thoughts on that aren’t so far out there that I can’t identify with them. I hear ya. I think he would be worse too. And my God, what would that portend related to what would follow him? And yes, I mean what. ;^)
I don't see any positive out-comes here.
If Obama wins he will cause lots of trouble, for example this time he will veto tax cut extensions because they include the rich, that will be his excuse and then he will blame Republicans yet take credit for deficit reduction.
If a Republican POTUS wins office what possible good can come of it? Another SCOTUS? That's a long shot.
He as we know will be quite flawed (one of these five, probably Romney) and will face an on-slaw of attacks and protests for 'putting the middle class below the rich' as Walker and Kasich did last year. And Republican voters will be even more demoralized than they were last year with the lack of results and performance. The debt is mounting leaving the next POTUS limited options for tax cuts or give-aways. It won't be pretty much like Bush second term wasn't.
Not to play a broken record :) but in some ways we would have been better off if the win in 2010 election was not as big as it was leaving Democrats with all the blame, as would a second Obama term. .
Remember all the rosy Pollyanna predictions last year for this years congress ??? Well the cheer leading will repeat itself.
five ???
you must need more rest SOL...you usually read the tea leaves better than that...
its mittens turn, bought & paid for...
My nightmare was a McCain term in office with a Republican House and Senate. That crusty old Leftist friend of Soros and Ted Kennedy, could have gotten anything he wanted pushed through.
I still cringe at the thought.
No this House hasn’t been good. It’s leadership seems like it’s six years old and getting pulled around by the nose, by a grown-up. And when you consider that Obama acts like a nine year old little boy, the approximate thinking skills of one too, this accomplishment by our House is startlingly unacceptable.
You won't let me deny reality until it slaps me in the face in a few months? Can't you just let me imagine that the next Reagan will show up and save us all?
No, I long ago figured it was Romney as with McCain in 2008. Its just a shame we don't have someone left in the race that we could feel proud of voting for even if Romney beats them.
basically, all my votin is being done by b!tchin about the corn & peanuts in the sandwich...
His “work” after congress has nothing to do with how he governed. He governed very well, IMO.
Did you see the debate tonight?
Bain...I have a great argument with firms like that. They buy a troubled company, beef them up to the point where they can borrow a lot of money, get that money back in the form of dividends, and sell an under leveraged company that will ultimately go into chapter 7.
Yes...I have a problem with the dealings I’ve witnessed.
LBOs in the 80s and 90s were nasty.
BTW, just exactly where did Bain “create” jobs?
“As I said, much of the Newt propaganda was based on a video that accused Romney of doing things at Bain BEFORE he even worked there.”
Before?
I have one more question...how do you explain the fact that he’s received multi-millions of dollars every year since he supposedly “retired?”
Why are they still paying him the big bucks?
LOL! You are very persistent. I like that in a person. ;o)
When I compare Newt vs Romney, man...there is no comparison.
Hey, that's not fair getting me to like you :)
“Hey, that’s not fair getting me to like you :)”
The same can be said of YOU! ;o)
