Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin challenged GOP presidential front-runner Mitt Romney to furnish his tax return and supporting documents that would prove he created the 100,000 jobs he claimed he did while CEO of Bain Capital.
"Governor Romney has claimed to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain and people are wanting to know is there proof of that claim and was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens?" Palin told Fox News Sean Hannity.
Palin said that transparency was needed as Romney would likely be targeted by Democrats on this issue if he were to become the Republican nominee.

I bet I was possibly one of less than a dozen on FR that watched Larry the Cable Guy last night.
He had aaan Alaska special, part of it was visiting the palins in Wasilla.
I think I remember when it was filmed, the scene where Larry was getting cussed out by a driver that was pissed off because he was forced to drive behind the Larry convoy at the speed limit was funny, and quite true.
1.) I want Obama to release them, too, but bad behavior by Obama does not excuse bad behavior by Romney.
2.) Romney made his 100,000 jobs claim a centerpiece to his campaign and put that forward as making him highly electable.
Time for him to put up or shut up if he wants voters to believe in and go with 2.)

Their hypocrisy is equaled by Romney’s obfuscation on his 100,00 jobs created claim.
“Sarah Palin Challenges Romney’s History Of Job Creation At Bain Vulture Capital”
Uh-oh, Wassilio. Willard busted by the Sarahcuda!
I’m pretty sure the save number is a pretend number.
Typical "FReeper who does not know the posting history of someone he calls a Rove Romneybot" response.
Check my posting history: I LOATHE Rove.
Check my posting history: Romney is a statist gun-grabber. I will under no circumstances vote for Willard, even if it means 0bama is re-elected.
Read my posting history: I was a supporter of Gov Palin for President, until she chickened out from the death threats.
Check my posting history: I don't believe there is a political solution for what ails America, anyway, so Mitt will only make things worse. Still, I won't vote for the bastard.
She makes a great point here!
I didn’t watch it, even though my dear friend, TheConservativeParty, told me about it! I forgot, since I don’t watch the show and have no idea about the channel or the time of its airing.
Sounds like you enjoyed the show!!!
...............(crickets chirping)...............
Well in all honesty I felt it was a bit on the weird side, its the same old story from Mythbusters to Dirty Jobs, they get locked into this one narrow little idea that to your average Alaskan is pretty juvenile, touristy or just overly dramatic, which of course is the idea.
The show was funny and gros, too much gross I feel than needed.
Blame it on the fact that Alaska is just too darn big to cover in any context, you have to have a series no less than a dozen episodes just to describe Alaska.
Is that created or “saved”? Romney needs to talk to the stimulus accountants for advice on this one! Seriously speaking, I’m no Romney supporter but as a former business lender I can tell you this is a hard number to project. For every job created, there is a ripple effect leading to creation or partial creation of additional jobs. And how about his “saving the Olympics”? Is he to get credit for every job associated with the Winter Olympics? I would strongly suggest he avoid the use of hard numbers and simply state his past policies have created or saved jobs. As to jobs lost as some ads emphasize, you can’t save every one. As a lender, I can tell you it’s hard to pull the plug on anyone, but sometimes it has to be done. Irony is that many who fail go on to become a success in another venture. They just needed to be told it was a losing venture and time to move on.
Pullleeeeeze, give it a rest.
We have official FreeRepublic PDSers that lurk around and once they see Sarah’s name in the headline, they pounce with some snarky remarks regardless of whether what she says is right or not
Bain Capital, has cut checks totaling $90,000 to Romneys operation.
LOL!!!
It may not have been legal. There is a serious question about insider trading that I believe will become a key moving forward. If you watched the video you would have seen that Mr. Romney sold millions of shares of stock just before the sale of some of the companies. There may be a link yet to improper stock sales. You watch for it.
