Unexpected! Apparently someone did not get obamma’s message that he is running for reelection and this does not help him.

Let’s see if Barry is so quick to rush in front of the cameras today. Last week’s boost was due to seasonal hiring. Those who were let go from their holiday jobs after the new year are just now filing - along with other first quarter layoff casualties.

"The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 642,381 in the week ending January 7, an increase of 102,314 from the previous week."

So the actual number of claims, 642,381, was "seasonally adjusted" to 399,000; and the actual increase of 102,314 was "seasonally adjusted" to 24,000.

When the "seasonal adjustments" are of this magnitude, the "seasonally adjusted" numbers are just fiction.
